I love the pace of the show. Other shows would have filled the season with meaningless filler episodes and would have them kiss at the very end of the season, but here we have real progress in every episode and I love that

Yeah generally in these shows it's like, "Bam.". They have the nerves then boom boom boom. In this one, the nerves are there with each tentative step. It feels so much more realistic. I remember those moments, that touch of a pinkie on the leg to test the waters... Wow it gets it right, doesn't it?

@@marissa658 This show is so fantastic because of that, and it is powerful for the LGBTQIA community because it both normalizes the crush (those moments we ALL go through, which some may not realize is the same across sexual lines) and shows how things can be different (the terror of being found out can be stronger, and also the challenges can be harder when one is out and the other is unsure or not out).

When Simon posted the video, i just thought that he really dont feel that Wilhelm is someone different. For him, Wilhelm is a regular guy, thats why he posted that video without thinking and without asking for permission. This also shows on some of their conversation, they dont talk about him being a Prince unless theres an issue.

The scene at the match was perfect. It shows how supported Simon is by his friends (refreshing), allows Simon to be the nervous and shy one (nice touch), and shows how being together makes both of these tightly wound characters feel free and joyous. This kind of development, which shows why the boys LIKE each other (rather than just wanting each other) is what makes the show special. Just these little touches that pull you right in to feeling the joy and freedom these two feel with each other. It is so sweet.

The fear at the end.... OMG... Wilhelm try to say " I'm not... gay " but he can't because it's too hard to say so, he grabbed Simon because he's scrared to let him go and let this moment go... we can feel his dilemma ! ;O To say what he "must" say as a Prince ( or as a scrared kid ) or do what he wants to do... And Simon ! He is so afraid he made a mistake... the way he doesn't understand why Wilhelm hold him back and prevents him for leaving when he has just made him understand that "he's not"... this whoooole scene of doubts with this tension and attraction... RIP !
