Paige was partly right. Sheldon did grow up to be a bit of a social misfit and weirdo but man, he got pretty lucky! I don't really know anyone who has the same 5+ good friends as adults. Most people i know have like 300-1,000 social media friends but only have like 2 or 3 good friends irl and maybe 1 super close friend after 25.

Kinda relate to Paige, as a kid I always had outstanding grades and was doing fine in school until my parents divorced, then I started getting bad grades, started being a revelious teneager getting in trouble and started hanging around with older people doing booze and getting stoned, I dropped out of high school and even got in troubles with the law, I just couldn't understood what was going on around me and my family expected too much out of me but got little to no attention from them and getting in trouble was a way to get their attention, I did turned out fine tho people have always told me I'm an intelligent person I just get distracted easily and need more consistency.
