In an interview, Raegan Revord (who played Missy) said that it was actually her stunt double removing the splinter from Sheldon’s finger. She admitted that she was upset that she didn’t get to do it because she had to work for hours

Lol! Something similar happened with my little brother and I. He’s only 2 years younger than me and we were like 7 and 5 so pretty young. He got a stapler pin stuck to his finger and kept yelling and crying so I got him to sit down, washed it with soap and water, took a pair of my mom’s tweezers, held them over a candle and pulled it out. Then I used some cotton and neosporin to clean out the wound and put a bandaid. My brother got hurt a lot so this was a lot of what I’d already seen my mom do. Memories. 😊

Missy should've been a surgeon. She wasn't ahead of the curve like sheldon but she def wasn't behind. She seems to like dissecting things, has good fine motor skills, and an actually high EQ (which is helpful as a doctor). My guess is her family didn't send her to college because they spent all of their funds on Sheldon.... Georgie and Missy weren't dumb, but constant comparisons to their brother probably didn't help their self esteem as to academics.

@@havefuntazarasu5367 Not directly by itself. But you can use it to sterilize the area being worked on(finger in this case) and/or the instruments used(needle or tweezers here). Edit: based on another comment, the alcohol content here is too low to be effective. It has to be at least 70%, so anything you drink is not concentrated enough.

When I was about 9 years old my little brother got a pretty bad splinter. He wouldn’t let anyone touch it. It started to get infected, and my mom was going to take him to the doctors. I waited until he fell asleep and yanked that thing out within my moms tweezers, dunked his hand in a bowl on hydrogen peroxide, and he was fine the next day! He slept like a log, and never knew what I did! He just thought it came out during his sleep and healed and so did my parents! Lol 😂
