Your videos resonate so strongly with me. I practically killed myself getting a lead position, but only focused on technical skills and hard work. This led to a fallout with upper managers who have weak technical skills, and don't like getting their hands dirty. However they articulate well, and navigate masterfully through company culture. It's hard respecting managers who don't put in the technical work - I just can't do it. But I'll have to learn to play the game. Now the cat's out of the bag and the future is grim. Certain managers want me gone. You are so 100% correct articulation and relationship building returns higher yields.

Great insights on the power of communication! 💬 Mastering the art of conveying ideas not only enhances critical thinking but also elevates one's ability to create, compete, and sell effectively.

this is very true, there are certain words that I don't use anymore in meetings and in my report. Example is I stopped using the word 'problem' or 'hard' or 'difficult', but use the word 'challenge or challenging' instead. I have now learned that you need to have what I now call 'verbal-Jiu-Jitsu' - meaning you can masterfully articulate any conversation, such as how to safely navigate the streets of Nicaragua or El Salvador, or make persuasive arguments to people in C-Suites.

I understand and agree that effective communication is important. However, I have observed a relatively stable organisation fail because individuals who were perceived as 'good communicators' attained top positions. It is fair to say that while effective communication is crucial, competence is equally important.

Yes, seems like she's an introvert herself who has mastered communication and is now passing the knowledge to the rest of us. She's spot on in everything she said and knows what introverts are lacking....

Not necessarily. Sometimes I think introverts communicate better because they want to avoid unnecessarily additional communication. If you get your point across clearly the first time you don’t need additional conversations and meetings.

That’s not true , many of introverts people have excellent communication skills, communication skill doesn’t mean who speaks more, it’s matter of who has more skill. Perfect practice is better practice. By the way, u got beautiful face😅

For me it's not vocabulary, it's articulation. I am much better at articulating in written form than out loud.

Communication is Key 🔑 to be an efficient leader, a further key would be all the different kinds of communication depending on the audience. What are the different and effective kinds if communications? Other than that, I agree that when selling something, ideally the product being sold is “for them,” the clients, is just difficult to see sometimes that the “clients” choose a similar product but lesser value sometimes more expensive can’t say cheap rather more economical. I guess that the conditioned communication channels lead the “clients” to purchase the same product of one way or another a lesser value, and that is what I’m trying to understand, Dr. Grace. What would be possible reasoning for this kind of scenarios and behaviors? 🥰✨💎

You're slipping into vocal fry, and even crackle, occasionally, word emphasis, and end signal, presumably. (for example 1 to. 1.04) You're original voice is particularly pleasant and melodic, are you going to keep following the trend do you think, or return to a less vocal cord straining mode?
