Before I joined the company I work for now I had already talked myself out of going for it. Better the devil you know right? Then I got the job offer, mentally I was like oh shit, because I had already rejected it but my body felt excited and then relaxed. So relaxed I had one of the best days for a long time and best sleep. I knew I couldn't ignore that so I accepted. It was absolutely the right thing to do. I've not always experienced such a visceral sensation before, not for a long time so that really brought it home for me that if I'd of listened to my survival mindset, I'd still be at my old job and very unhappy.

I learned to name compound scents over time just to give them meaning, hahaha even if they are compound. ... The goal is not to give them meaning, but meaning is evidence of noticing them, I can't ignore the details.

Merry Christmas Lucas! Can you give me any pointers or books for somatic therapy and getting into my body? You said intuition is a full body experience. I'd like to learn more. Thanks for the insightful and clear content as usual. I struggle sometimes to be in my body. I think it's just because of my own personal habits though. When I'm connected to it I feel very clear and am able to meet life without resistance or at least as much resistance.
