Another video released when I feel like I need it the most! You have been insanely helpful in pointing me in better directions for myself. You're a great guide, but we all have to walk our paths our own way, thank you for helping so many people get started.

I was in a six-year long relationship and a couple of other 2 to 3 year ones and I always ended up losing myself and my identity in those relationships. Now that I am five months single I’m learning to get to know myself on a deep level and I absolutely love it!

2:45 I literally got all of the secondaries in order and it absolutely didn't make me happy. I'm glad I've got that under my belt and have began my journey over a year ago focusing on the primary. It's been really difficult and it still is, but I'd never look back.

It's a nice narrative, a little cynical. There is this novel idea of "raising children" that you may have heard of (without which you wouldn't have been created), that you seem to have overlooked. Did you know that two people can create a family together as a form of lifestyle which embraces the dharma of the "householder" asrama, in Hindu terms. But to put it another way, why do men and women have attraction in the first place. It's because nature encourages family creation... so we could say the pleasure of romantic bonding owes itself to the need for perpetuating the species and that is the responsibility that goes with it. If people enter relationships for "fulfilment" it's the same as pleasure seeking or general distraction. I'm making this comment because you said that looking for satisfaction in a partner in the long term is futile, and I wanted to point out that this doesn't mean that long term commitment in the form of "marriage" is futile, as that is not based on desire for fulfilment but on voluntary responsibility shared between two people.

If you watched the video you'd get to the point where I talk about not avoiding relationships, but actually building the necessary skills to create fulfilling ones. It doesn't seem like you actually made it that far based on your comment. A relationship alone isn't going to fulfill you because that's not how human satisfaction works. Build the psyche that can create the circumstances for fulfillment throughout life without depending on any particular thing or person. That's the core message. It's also unnecessary to write something like "There is this novel idea of "raising children" that you may have heard of (without which you wouldn't have been created), that you seem to have overlooked." I just stop taking you as serious after. The attitude and energy doesn't really go well with the point you're trying to make, it takes away from it. "Did you know that two people can create a family together as a form of lifestyle which embraces the dharma of the "householder" asrama" I spoke about conscious relationships and growth through relationships in the video. Your comment leads me to believe you didn't really watch it. "I'm making this comment because you said that looking for satisfaction in a partner in the long term is futile, and I wanted to point out that this doesn't mean that long term commitment in the form of "marriage" is futile, as that is not based on desire for fulfilment but on voluntary responsibility shared between two people." Again, I spoke about conscious relationships in the video. I'm not saying to never enter relationships or that they're somehow just a waste of time and energy. In fact, I stated the opposite of that in the video.
