I recently went through mine, all 3500 cards from base to the gym challenge or whatever it is. Very disappointed at myself when I saw a lot of the cards condition from when I was 7 to 11ish. But I have had such a good time improving how I organized them in the binder :) I’m 26 and have gotten back into collecting. I also have the machamp in its packaging surprisingly lmao.

When I was really young I had a small collection of pokemon cards my mom pucked up at a yard sale. I loved looking at those cards, but at the time I had never seen the show and varely played the games so I wasn't too connected to Pokemon. My cards ended up getting lost. Some years later I saw Lucario and the Mystery of Mew and I was sucked into a new love of pokemon. I searched everywhere for my old cards but I had no luck - until my cousin gave me her pokemon card collection. Included with it all was the exact same error holo Zapdos I remembered loving from my own deck! It turned out that I had given her that card as a gift, and it made its way back to me. I still have it to this day and it is one of my favorites, and the only card I still have from my original collection.

Leonhart, that first edition Electrode @14:35 is an error print card. The artwork is the electrode from the base set, but it has the jungle icon. It should have the jungle electrode artwork instead. Please upvote so he sees this!

Started watching your videos and few other creators too try and figure out how much my old collection was worth.. it ended up sparking that nostalgia and all the great memories came back and its gotten back into collecting! I've got the whole base set and most of jungle/fossil and all the heavy hitters from team rocket, mostly unlimited but some first edition's! Also got a lugia and the 3 starters from neo and a shining mewtwo all in super great shape! I'm going to try and finish my fossil/jungle set and hopefully be done because its a lot of money lol

Most of my cards are German, so they aren't worth as much as English ones but so far I found a First Edition Holo Fossil Moltres (I remember pulling it when I was 5 Yeats old), a First Edition Holo Sabrina's Gengar (english, I bought the pack while in holiday in Britain), a Fossil Holo Pidgeot, a Fossil Holo Pinsir a Gold Star Groudon. I also found quite a few old Ex cards, old reverse rares and other holos from the 2nd and 3th generation.

My very first Pokemon card was a holographic Raichu that I got from some kids playing the TCG game at our local park. Early 2000's maybe 2002. I don't know what happened to that card but I loved it. Leonhart, one of my favorite memories from opening up some booster packs of Pokémon cards was the time I pulled a Mega Mewtwo EX Full art card from XY: Breakthrough. And since you mentioned that my old Pokémon cards could be worth a fortune someday, I actually had to get rid of a couple of them because some of my Pokémon cards were fakes. Pulling a Charizard, Blastoise, and Venusaur back to back from base set on Christmas for my Birthday/Christmas present. Since my brother and my birthday are on the 2nd of Jan (brother) and Dec. 1st (mine), my parents would combine our birthdays with Christmas. My brother pulled a Poliwrath, Chansey and Nidoqueen. I have a shadowless holo Charizard...had no idea it was shadowless until I checked it out last night. It has a minor scratch on the foil that doesn't go all the way through, and it has some white around the edges, but other than that, it's in good condition. Planning on getting it graded ^_^
