This is Bill Roper, he was a Blizzard exec at the time, and the one who wrote most of the handbook for the original Warcraft. He's not actually a voice actor, but he is a musician. :)

@Luke2009 It's almost certainly Bill Roper; who voiced the orc narrator, alliance narrator, the peons, the grunts, the footmen, the elves and the ships of both races. Roper became the vice president of Blizzard north and eventually left to cofound flagship studios(the guys who did the rather dissappointing Hellgate: London).

YES. Jeff Roberts, the creator of Miles and the whole RAD Game Tools stuff that almost everybody nowadays uses for video and audio, worked on this game and its demo with some technical stuff. He is quite a joker. That dude has had his spoon in a lot of mainstream game projects since the 1990s. It is difficult to tell the accurate extent because he prefers to stay anonymous most of the time. His only programmer / designer credit is from Microsoft Golf (1993). EDIT: I asked about the funny stuff through his podcast email and he replied saying that he only did the technical stuff and it was the Blizzard dudes who came up with the humor.
