DD is getting crazy. Platinum driver and STILL getting HORRIBLE OFFERS. Dashed almost 7 hours today on pay order. It was nothing but BS. While I was waiting for an offer to come, a new dasher with only 8 lifetime deliveries saw me and asked if I could show them how to pick up stacked order at Jersey Mikes. Was helping them, and I received an offer for BW’s. Without looking I excepted the offer. DD paid me $2 to go 3 miles, and then no tip. Talked to new driver later, and they were paid $18 on a stacked order that only took them 10 minutes to complete. Is it I am finding out that being a platinum driver is not worth it at all. If you drive pay by time yo are also getting screwed.

Yea, there’s like a new dasher incentive program, where everyone is a top dasher rn, absolutely crazy and stupid, ITS FOR THE FIRST 50 ORDERS TOO, so like they’re gonna be hyper inflating any area

DD has been dispatching me orders that were already late, and on top of that they ask for pictures of Receipts and Pizza Bags. They know I have Pizza Bags for the square boxes and for the full sheet (26"x19") pizzas. Got tired of them asking for pics of the receipts after I already had the order bagged up. So, I just took a picture of the bag After a few pics of a bag DD eased up on the pics of the receipt requests. I did have a "Hand It To Me" this past week where the guy wouldn't respond to calls or texts so I started the timer for "Can't hand it to Customer". DD said that the food had to go back to the restaurant. Just before the timer was about to run out the customer decides to open the door to his house to get the food. So, I have yet to find out what returning the food back is like.

@@tengineer9111 they always make me take a picture of the pizza bag on the first pizza delivery of a shift and i get the picture request for the receipts usually only for bad orders i prob shouldnt have accepted but one time a lady added a 5$ tip at the end and it said thank u for taking a picture of my order seemed kindof like automated msg though

@@tengineer9111 Yeah, doortrash gave me an order earlier with -2 minutes to get to the restaurant. I already have 2 violations due to their stupid time limits. Of course I get there "on time" and the orders aren't ready. Then dd gives me 50 minutes to deliver when it only takes 15. Makes no sense whatsoever.

As a platinum driver, i think its by luck that you get the high paying offers, you just need to be at the right place at the right time

They shouldn't dispatch to a driver until the order is ready or close to. I get some places may not be able to but when I get an order for a pizza and the restaurant is next to me and I get there and told its a 15-20min wait its kind of bogus

I'm from Las Vegas and I was getting low ball offers that were a dollar a mile to under a dollar a mile my whole shift! It was horrible and I am in Gold tier trying to get to platinum.

I usually stick to South Pittsburgh, between 5pm and 9pm and make roughly $25-30/hr. My acceptance rate is a mere 7% - so I'm cherry picking.

Ya, I prefer pay by time, but they just removed it from my area with no warning....it was $15 per hr here

its good that you show us the pros and cons that you go through just like everyone else.. its not always a smooth ride and waiting for 20 minutes or more happens once in a while.. and in some cases they might tip more for the wait.. its a gamble

Restaurant late getting order to driver solution? Visit that same restaurant later and purchase a meal in cash, eat all but 10% and complain in the effort to get a full refund. Disguise your identity, cap, face mask and baggy clothes and such. That’s how the restaurant pays you back for being late. You can also contact the company website and make a statement as how the restaurant was late getting an app delivery order to completion.

Been a platinum dasher and top dasher since i started 3 years ago it doesn't matter im still seeing mostly trash orders then occasionally i get a large order program order, which i was invited to join when it was invite only before being a platinum dasher gave people access, market has declined and the oversaturation of drivers has really put a dent in earnings for those who have been doing it for a while full time, but that being said you can still hit your goals if you adapt and learn to network the different submarket places and figure out how to make some of these trash orders make sense by turning obstacles into opportunities by networking the zones, im not looking at dollar per mile as much as i am how much and how long will the order take and can i network orders going back into my zone to still make that $18-20 an hour while the milage may not look pretty

I've never seen distance pay. But I have seen a long distance fee when you're ordering through the app. It would charge $1.99 for 5+ miles.

Season is back in Arizona. 4-5 hour shifts 5-9pm, 5-10pm every night of the week $120-$140 average. This is Monday thru Thurs..... $200+ every Friday and Saturday Running Grub Hub, UE, and DD. The snowbirds are back in town $$$$ Also doing 1 hour per day catering with Foodja during lunch. $30-$60 offers every day.. They only give you 1 order per day, but it takes 1 hour total sometimes alot less time. I was on the Foodja wait list for over a year, and finally got in last month.
