A fade out isn't an indication that a band didn't know how to end a song. That's a production decision. No song is written without an ending, and they played most of these songs in concert without ending by fading out. The problem with this channel is that they are ignorant about the topics they have chosen to talk about. I like some of what they say, and I give them props for a great idea for a podcast, but if you're going to do this theme you really need to know the bands you're criticizing reasonably well and understand what was going on in the music industry at the time you're talking about.

It's tough to mock Black Sabbath on anything to begin with, and most of the stuff that you mocked here didn't really make sense. Your roast of Metallica was a bit better, you might want to make that one your template if you're going to rip on heavy metal bands. P.S. - Your whole comedic premise took a nosedive when calling Black Sabbath a Zeppelin cover band, if you were intended to mock the idiot writers at Rolling Stone at that time who made similarly stupid comparisons, you need to be a bit more obvious because no one would pick up on that were it your intent. You could maybe work in that analogy with everything they did with Ozzy after Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, but even then the analogy struggles to hold up.

Chill out Sabbathheads, people have preferences. Just because someone doesn't like dated stuffs doesn't make them less of a "trve" metalhead. I usually see y'all projecting your insecurities by saying ridiculous stuffs like, "You don't like Black Sabbath! You're not a metalhead". Who in the world are you to decide who is what? The only sensible criteria for being a metalhead is to listen to and love metal music, be it from any sub-genre. Black Sabbath is a boring band in my opinion, but I respect their contribution towards the formation of genre - yeah, I said "contribution", they didn't create Heavy Metal out of the blue, bands like Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Blue Cheer etc. also deserve equal credit for their influence. Black Sabbath created Doom Metal, not all sub-genres as evident from bands like Pentagram, Candlemass, Electric Wizard, Saint Vitus etc. all heavily inspired by Black Sabbath and are widely considered as greatest doom metal bands. What about Iron Maiden and Judas Priest? Do they sound anything like Black Sabbath? If yes, then how? I'm willing to hear more than just " This band created metal 'nuff said " type of comments.

Anyway The Nile Song by Pink Floyd and Sweet Dream by Jethro Tull both from 68 or 69 are as heavy as anything but never get mentions on these “ 50 years of Heavy Metal “ productions. White Hammer by Van Der Graff Generator from 1969 is as heavy as those but minus guitars - I think it’s one Birth of Goth Rock . It’s 10 years before Bauhaus anyway. I hear MC5 credited for being pretty intense for those times but in spite of my being interested in rock music since 1973 never heard them mentioned by British Metal or Rock press in the early 80s heyday of “ Sounds “ . “ Is this the end my friend ? RIGHT ON!!! So, here’s the plan. I am a big big fan of “YOUR FAVORITE BAND SUCKS””! I sing and play guitar and I would also like to suck. Which means that I would like to be successful. So, I would like to enlist Tyler Mayhan Coe as my manager. “COL. TYLER”, YOU’RE HIRED! That is a serious offer, but, (I have no fucking clue where commas go) I am a major fan of “ Your Favorite Band Sucks” and “Cocaine & Rhinestones”. YFBS is a Movie star revealing to the general population how “ The Magic Trick” is performed. “COCAINE & RHINESTONES” is just excellent! Very well researched. Very informative. And extremely entertaining. And, I’m not leaving Matt out of this conversation. I’m just not as familiar with him as I am with you. Love from little ol’ me in Big ol’ Texas. It is the time of the year where I shall wish you a happy Thanksgiving and a merry Christmas and a happy new year! I love you so much! Rock on, gentleman!

They tuned their guitars down because of his fingers. He wanted to decrease the tention. They kind of did start stoner metal and metal with paranoid and master of reality because it inspired alot of artists that did heavier music than them eventually. I’d have to say you’re wrong on this one especially because their songs are incredible...Into The Void/Paranoid/Fairies Wear Boots are some of the best riffs I’ve ever heard

Back in the 80's( pre internet), I remember being horrified and mystified that Ozzy was some kind of frontman. People would make suggestions to an impressionable kid, - and I just couldn't find ANY redeeming value; Van Halen doing goofy covers, Rush overplaying to ode to helium BS poetry, Pink Floyd and the Dead boring to tears with varied wankery,- which is why the Bowie Heroes LP seemed like fresh air. Then I discovered the Pixies.... Ozzy was and is just plain embarassing , the real life cautionary tale mum insisted was the fate of all musicians. The fact that he is still successfully promoted by Sharon the Merciless as some kind of savant, just goes to prove how lost his multi generational followers truly are. Meanwhile, Frank Black got a little heavier, and a little balder, - but he STILL kicks asz.

Black sabbath did not invent metal correct but Black sabbath did create doom metal nobody was playing down tuned blues rock before master of reality by black sabbath. Also pentagram formed in in 1972 right after master of reality was released in 1971 you can watch interviews of Bobby libling talking about being inspired by black sabbath and ufo exc Once black sabbath released master of reality the others started using Gibson sgs and down tuning there guitars. Blue cheer didn't start sounding like metal until the beast is back in 1984 as for coven they started releasing sabbathy sounding doom metal material in the early 2000s after not releasing any material for a few decades there 60s and 70s stuff sounds complealty different anything doomy sounding started in there come back in 2008 after master and reality it inspired bands to form such as Death ss, witchinfer general, saint vitus, exc all whom didn't exist before master of reality and parinoid as for us not properly listening to music I'm using a 120w hifi speaker system hooked up to a turn table and cd player with digital to analog converter and it sounds great to me. I can't tell if you guys are trolling or just have shit taste in music. How about you go trash down something that actually sucks like Metalcore/deathcore bands like Asking Alexandria and avenged sevenfold or whatever bs these emo posers listen to now a days. Also Tony iommi lost is finger tips years before he formed earth and black sabbath he was a kid about 16 years old so idk wtf you guys are taking about he played through earth and the first 2 sabbath records in e standard tuning it was not until master of reality where he started down tuning also he used household items as fingertips got leather tips made for him way after master od reality go do ur homework I'm only 25 and I'm more educated then you on this topic
