Garlic Bread Guide - You Suck at Cooking (episode 98)

There are many ways to make garlic bread, including easy garlic bread and difficult garlic bread. Fortunately, none of these garlic breads are particularly difficult and all of them are fairly delicious. That's because of the garlic and the bread.
You Suck at Cooking the Book:

So, in addition to these simple instructions I’ll just say add more salt if you want to. I highly recommend not using salted butter for the first one since you’re adding more salt.
With the basil and parmesan one, just add whatever amount you think will taste good.
You can also add parmesan after you bake the garlic bread.
You can basically do whatever tf you want. That’s how this all works.
Also, I like using the fork-scrape method to determine doneness because if it gets too browned it can get dry, and I think there's this sweet spot where it's just slightly crusty but there's still some melted butter moisture inside. MMMMMMMMMM MELTED BUTTER MOISTURE.

Alternatively you can blend a lot of garlic with some oil, it lasts for several weeks and it does not include the saturated fats. Just make sure you pack it with garlic, it takes a bit to get the rich taste, even add some of the garlic that lays at the bottom of the oil for extra taste!

The mistake you made is using a butane torch. You should use propane. Though a true pro would use an oxy-acetylene torch. Show offs will use a stick welder (7018 rods)
