With people even asking KZbin to ban them, however KZbin responded to this attack and helped defend The Critical Drinker and protect him from the attack. But this highlights an even bigger issue at the moment in which I dive into further in this video.

But people often misunderstand the freedoms in that amendment though, and mistakenly assume it protects anything they say as well as how they say it; even though it has never worked like that. The most commonly known law to restrict speech is d-threats. Even if you're in a public square, you can't go making such threats. But there are other examples too, and people tend to confuse the amendment to also protect how they phrase things, even though it's just to protect what they can say to a certain extent, which are two different things. Then there is the whole thing about how youtube is almost global, and the US amendments don't mean sh in other parts of the world, and countries got their own laws to regulate such things.

That's what annoys me the most. The sheer amount of critiscm the show got had NOTHING to do with the DEI shit. It was just atrocious to watch. I didn't watch it and could barely stand the reviews it was so bad...I've always been a movie/theater nerd and pay a lot of attention to the backend of the content like the writing, set designs, acting, all of that stuff, the plot for me comea later and these shows are really not on par for the budgets going into them. There are better indie film student shorts on youtube than the stuff places like Disney are releasing. It only screams money laundering at this point.

He's good, but he's too obsessed with blood and realism, which is a very common misunderstanding audiences make. The laws of "physics", the laws of emotions, the laws of culture, all of that is defined by the story; but there are many audience members that get put off when they don't see blood from a punch, or when they don't see people "ending" when there is a fatal wound inflicted. It's the same thing with sxual relationships, people expect realistic interactions to the point of excess when there is a protagonist that's abnormally withdrawn and passive when it comes to such things. Even when such a protagonist is consistently depicted as having a mindset of being such a person, the audience still tends to inject their own sense and values to a point where it would make it a completely different genre if it would be like that in the story. Sure, imagining yourself in a story as it happens is a common way to enjoy stories, like "I'm now a hero" or "I'm now a comedian" while watching or reading a story. But modern audiences takes that too far to a point where entire genres seize to exist if they would all have to adhere to such views.

He's really good at what he does, don't get me wrong; but it's an evergrowing trend amongst modern audiences to reject things which doesn't depict what they themselves would do or expect to happen if it would be them in the situations on the screen. It completely disregards the rules of the story universe as defined by the writing, when audiences think like that.

I just saw "Am I Racist" in the theater two days ago and going to see it felt kind of weird. @@dreamclaw00 A guy like Lia Thomas competing in womens swim-sport....Ideology (if a man says he is a woman, he must be one) over facts (very much biologically a man, more bones densitiy, muscle strength, more lung and heart volume - hormones do not change that) - absolutely discriminating against all the bio women competing...but who cares, its woke. Another one: PoC Jordan Peters as Childking Eduard in that TV series. Again, Ideology (we must represent more PoC) over facts (he was in fact a white child, died at 16). I would love to see the reaction of the woke community if, in a Biopic about Martin Luther King, the main role would be played by brad pitt (or any white guy). The woke wave is just rewriting history and warping it to their liking...thats actually something all fashist systems have done. I am all for equality and diversity....but I think it is very much done in the wrong way currently, maybe think critically instead of buying into left wing BS?

The important thing to me is to separate the corporate "woke BS " and extreme queer ideology, from the reality of day to day real people who get shat on by all this left/right manipulation. I recognize diversity, but I also recognize competing needs of different groups. (Totally agree about the Lia Thomas thing and I'm trans myself). Instead of dealing with those complexities and realities they've forced a load of rules and regulations on to people that make no sense. As for the right, they'll spin any old BS to get attention. Humans are fucked.

I watched the Critical Drinkers reviews of The Acolyte. There was not a single mention of anything that could be even remotely construed as racist. These people just need to face the fact that the concept itself was flawed and poorly written, produced , directed and acted.
