We run a movie reaction channel and Kanhaiya Studios has falsely claimed our videos as well. When I appealed I called them out as a fraudulent company and that our lawyers were prepared to take legal action if further fraudulent claims persist. They released the claims in minutes. The worst part of all of this is the fact that they are able to mask the claim as Universal or another movie studio. Kanhaiya only popped up after a rejection of a dispute. If I didn’t dispute it would have remained hidden. Based on this video it looks like they remained hidden on this claim for you up until they denied an appeal? That’s crazy. It actually makes me question every claim we’ve ever received and have just let remain monetized by the claimant as the risk and work to get it released far outweighs the reward. We have been getting a ton more claims from Univeral lately on our older videos and all disputes have been denied. But no hidden studio is popping up in the claim after the denying. Makes me wonder if they found a way to mask themselves further. In my experiences any claims from Kanhaiya Studios and Nan Films LLC can be safely appealed until they release with threats of legal action if they continue their fraudulent claims. I have a bunch of evidence on these two guys being obviously scams and like you KZbin did nothing with it. With all the content creators out there, too afraid to dispute or appeal, these companies are probably making a sizeable check from their fraudulent claims that remain on videos. It’s disgusting.

Kitboga has a bunch of videos describing his interactions with phone scammers, most of whom seem to be in New Delhi. My impression is that police usually look the other way, apparently because the owners of the scam companies have connections in government. It wouldn't surprise me if the same people who try to scam grandma are also working the copyright claim grift - anything for an easy buck, or rupee.

I've had copyright trolls hit my channel when they don't own the copyright. It was over music in a game. While some music in games can have a separate copyright, in this case, the music was actually owned by the game company. In my case, the music was actually uploaded to Spotify with a different name. For every claim they made, I angrily retorted in the response that I was reporting this to the real copyright owners. After five such hits on different videos, they backed off and released everything. Another incident happened for old KZbin live streams. I use "copyright free" music for them, but one song suddenly started getting claimed. Initially, I thought it was because the artist moved to another company, who had the rights. So I had the songs cut out of the videos. But as the claims kept coming in, I challenged one and was told that all I had to do was to put a link to some website in the description. When I countered and told them that they didn't own the copyright (a bluff on my part), suddenly, all of the copyright claims were lifted. Really sucks that KZbin allows all this. But they get paid, so that's all that matters.

I got a claim from Kanhaiya too, I thought maybe they got the rights of the movie on some country, it was one of the Halloween movies made by Dimension Films, I was ready to take the strike and counterclaim to get my video back but they retired the claim 1 day before the strike, after watching your video I'm sure they have the rights to nothing, and it really concerns me that these people have a lot of private information about me now.

If the company is bogus, as it appears they may be, it will probably take something like an ethical hacker to bring them down. I've seen several videos from these hackers who target phone scammers. They can really ruin their day, and it's fun to watch. I think companies would do well to hire these ethical hackers, but that may bring on some legal costs they would rather avoid.

I had something similar like this a month ago. I had performed a song to just teach all 50 States to a Home by Edward Sharpe. They start off with Alabama Arkansas and then never say the rest of the States. I figured I'd correct that. I uploaded it and that parent music company wanted their cut of an educational video. They didn't agree it was transformative. They're scumlords even when it comes to teaching kids the 50 States. Threatened with a strike as well. Keep up the good fight.

The major problem, for you, is that KZbin won't feel the pressure from troll content claims because they aren't the one facing monetary assault. So this problem is "your" problem and any small content creator. We are all living in an optimized corporate hell scape.

I want you guys to seek out that movie and watch it - is very American thing to say. Streaming, DVDs and other media are severely limited outside US and Canada. Even if it's a movie from Europe it's sometimes hard to get in Europe. Not to mention a language barrier sometimes. I'm from Poland, I'm not poor but not rich either. Spending my week earnings for a DVD is bit much, don't you think? Especially if you have wife and two kids you have to provide for. Your channel is awesome, because it shows me what to dream of. Some things I can watch, most I can only hope to find on some streaming available in Poland, getting a collection? Probably not in this life. By the way we have Netflix, HBO, Apple and Amazon for streaming and that's it, compare it to your selection. Sorry for the rant but this situation is frustrating me a lot!
