I've given up fighting all of the "investment" bots. On every video, I get one of these scam posts telling people to contact him on telegram or whatsapp to make money. And then it immediately gets like 30 replies, all of them claiming that the "investment" is totally legit and that they made money with the original poster. Google is a trillion dollar company, yet can't create a decent spam filter.

As a tiny channel growing fast, I notice some really strange “bot” account activity: A profile picture of a girl in a suggestive pose, with a name like “F*** me I’m 18+”, but leaves a long, detailed reply that is relative to the video and seems to be written by a human. These are not standalone comments. These are replies to comments I make on other videos. They are newly created accounts with no subs, that use channel banners to promote a website.

I was more expecting talk about the "have s3x with me" bots that literally copy comments and reply to other, completely unrelated comments on the same video. Scrolling through YT shorts, it’s IMPOSSIBLE to go through the comment section of a popular video and not see someone with some random word like “lol”, “yeet”, “yes” etc with a verified checkmark, and a Mr.Beast profile picture. The comment will usually say something like “don’t you love how [person] improves our day?” Then you click on the profile and you’ll find a banner with a MrBeast picture posted, saying “if you clicked on my channel, you HAVE to subscribe.”, along with a video saying “who is [person’s name]?” Where they make up a lousy excuse as to why you should sub to them, with commentary and random gameplay in the background. They’ll deny purchasing these verified account, and make up a backstory. If they want an audience, then they should do it like everyone else does. Put in actual effort in creating your content rather than following a stupid trend

sub trends and amount of videos +views on said videos should affect subscriber counts. A person can drop 1vid and get a ton of subscribers just by fate, but its suspislcious when they have 100k+ subs with low view counts. The subs should be removed, the subscriber accounts deleted and then an investigation of what happened. Mostly because theoretically this could be used to hurt channels.

The botting problem gets worse every week. I see bots in video comments, replies, community posts, all stealing verified check marks off bought channels, and it’s getting on my nerves. KZbin needs to crack down on real issues like this rather than stupid made-up ones like “tArGeTeD DiSLiKe aTtaCKs”

Me being the skeptic that I am, I never replied or viewed their profile but the fact that they replied to my comment from like 2-3 years back on random old videos is baffling to me. yes thank you for bringing the sex bots up something I've noticed, they seem to flock to comment sections of larger content creators such as MrBeast and Markiplier. MrBeast especially, you can go to any given video of his on the gaming or main channel, scroll down, immediately get extremely sus borderline porn profile pictures if you click, you'll see "getting ready for livestream" video on their channel, same video seems to have been used for pretty much all of them go to their about me, you see a link. haven't clicked on that, probably links to some porn site or the other

Strictly speaking, it doesn't seems like it would apply directly to comments from one "user" to another on the "platform", which would seem to fall under the definition of "personal communications". However, they should still very much fall afoul of KZbin's own anti-spam and anti-"adult content" policies, so they should be working to fix the problem. The only way for average viewers on the "platform" to help with this seems to be by reporting the "offending" comments and signal boosting videos calling the problem out, like this one.

I've noticed something. Most of the time, the "verified" bots have just a gray checkmark, when actual verified creators have a gray circle with a black checkmark (I'm in dark mode, it may be different for light mode).

When I read the title, I figured you were going to talk about the comments from bots or someone being a cam girl, or similar. Its always in replies to other comments despite their reply having nothing to do with the original comment

The worst part about this is that all the comments from these people are always just uncreative and boring, yet you see them at the top flooding all the comment section, while better and more meaningful comments from normal users don't gain as much traction. A little detail but it gets tiresome seeing the same few verified dudes making their stupid uninteresting comments all the time if you're someone who looks a lot into comments.

These bots channels don't realise how annoying they are, they're like:"it's just me commenting on random and no i totally don't sub bot" Yes it is, that's if i went to the park and some stranger walks up to me and is like "hey, you want to buy some lipstick" and i said no. And go to just about anywhere but 7 other strangers are trying to sell things to me.
