Although all of the tricks are really good, but still whatever tricks you apply ,a distracted mind will always find his/her source of entertainment.I will tell you how.So by now I think each one of us can agree that we are all addicted from yt and well nit just yt but the damn smartphone.And in every addiction however hard it may be for the addict to find his thing,he is gonna get it.Just as how drug addicts work,they just somehow get their things from any corner of the place howsoever hard,howsoever expensive it may be.Well Although this addiction us not that much intense,but still the mechanism pretty same. The best way to remove all distractions is to remove your damn smartphone itself,it's not impossible because the offline students ,I don't think they need smartphone anyway, and even the online students can attend on their classes on their mom's smartphones . You all can just tell your mom to not give you phone besides 1-2 hrs you need for entertaining yourself and make her keep a lock on your phone.For those who are in hostel or those who have a working mom can shift to telling anyone either your roommate or someone from your home to.just hide your phone and not give it unless the time comes.

So true bro, Yet I think that addiction can be overcome when you really love what you are doing and aspire about being in your dream college not because of any external pressure, but due to inner sense of growing and being better than yesterday. That ways Jee/Neet or any other exam is an opportunity for growth and so you overcome such distractions which restrict growth. So I find bhaiya's solutions very helpful as I am studying from yt and spent lot of time on yt and have used some solution previously which helped me.

i have a solution too which I originally made like if there are 30 apps on my phone so i set one app per slide and most needed top 5 (insitute app calculator etc. on first) and most unuseful in the last slides and a wallpaper which make me every time i go to last so I stop in betwwen and off the phone and this actually works

i have switched on the focus mode in my mobile so it allows me to use the distracting app only for 5 min(we can change this timings as per our wish in the settings) after which the app goes off and this will avoid binge watching nd puts u in the realization that u have to stop.

Tbh 20 pass won't do much , you can memorise and waste time or write it . we can type it in less then 10 sec with avg type speed . It should come inside of you , just let it aside slowly slowly if time is less , be a bit hard on yourself sometimes you will have a breakdown and do things you shouldn't have but the guilt trip will make sure it won't happen , it will subside slowly automatically.

Well I didn't rlly mean external won't do anything respect that but most students lack the inner voice of doing so and i personally experienced it , almost most " Aspirants "for sure have restrictions on certain things , mostly it don't work in long run just restrictions i mean ,but as a teen most cannot control themselves (even parents fail to control ) Summary : short run yeah it will work (idk how short ) , but long run self control is very important with ofc external restrictions as we are humans ( that too teenagers ), but don't expect only ext. Restrictions will do all the work .
