KZbin is a business. A business that has gotten very big and has effectively no competition. A business this large is incapable of considering anything but profit and expansion. It is politicized in so far as it calculates it has to be to expand and profit. E.g. If this was the 1950's, youtube would be far more right wing and intolerant of nudity lol. But this is 2021 and unfortunately KZbin is a direct reflection of how unbalanced and demented our society has become.

In the south, almost no one cared, and when it was time to kill aristocracy, most people were against it (Marseille for example) because it was just completely useless. And when they complained, Louis XVI was just so occupied with his little hobby (clocks) instead of taking care of the country, that Paris decided to make a coup d'état, and take control, to decide what to do. And even worse, they tried to get help from another country (because the queen was the daughter of Austria's king). If Louis XVI did something for the country, France would have still been a monarchy nowadays. If there hadn't been a famine, same result. If Paris didn't take the decision alone, same result. I've had some ideas for videos to make. I don't have experience uploading videos, but now I worry if there's even a place not overrun with this absurdity, where I can share my thoughts in video form. Will KZbin abuse it? Facebook? What is happening?

@@patrickeg916 Your best bet? Upload your videos on multiple platforms. That way, even if this platform goes ban-happy on you, you still have it up on other platforms. :/ The only way this platform can "abuse content", is if they use monetization and take that out of your pocket for what is essential your effort, time and energy spent on creating a video product. The MSM can do way worse, in using certain creators' content as "examples" of wrongdoing. If you didn't do anything TOO spicy, MSM usually didn't care. But we've got "wrongthink fact checkers" going around on their little crusade for people to bully, harass and intimidate. So this platform is usually the best for getting a message across the most amount of people, but more obscure platforms will probably allow for some creators a quiet little reprieve until they eventually come for those platforms as well. :/ As for experience in uploading videos, all you have to do is check out the Help section of any platform. Some platforms even have videos up to show you how to do it. After that, it's just "practice makes perfect" in uploading content, in other words, the more you upload, the easier it becomes. You'll figure out an upload schedule and workflow that allows you to optimize your creation process, and if you have the time, you can easily create up to 3-5 videos a day, if you are so inclined. :)

How do you feel about the CDA, of which Section 230 is a part? It's government censorship made law, which is in direct conflict with the First Amendment. In contrast, KZbin is a private entity, not in the public sphere at all. Why should they compelled by the government to host anything they don't want to?

Yeah it's something i find really weird, especially because whenever you bring it up, you immediately get to hear: "but then _______ couldn't moderate at all" Wich i find really weird, i mean why would you need moderation? It's not really Skynet, it's the liberal latte sipping elites who write the code that is used by the machines to universally delete the videos. It's people behind the curtains pulling the strings. They are to blame, not the machines. The algorithm has to be written by people, and those people are the ones with disingenuous motives.

@@bobalicious2696 That's only half of it, unfortunately. Algorithms can't differentiate between a joke or someone being actually serious. It also can't differentiate between someone quoting a film saying because it's relevant to the discussion, versus someone making a threatening statement. It looks at things literally and straightforward, and goes after specific words. The fact that you have people in society now that wants to go after innocent words to give it meanings of their own, doesn't help matters either, since they are breaking the language and the communications channels it allows. :/
