I cannot believe the conclusion about the Kevin Bankston segment made it into the final cut of this video. Gemini INGESTS your personal documents, even if you had the setting allowing as much disabled. This is still TERRIBLE. Essentially, if you open Gemini for some file, you are implicitly allowing Gemini access to *all* future files of that type you access, until you manually disable Gemini. *While the appropriate setting allowing as much is disabled*. And this video paints Kevin as an outraged individual who was then later embarrassed by a lack of basic understanding. That just isn't what happened, at all, and Google is being deceptive as always. It’s totally different if the reviewer has no selling affiliation and is totally independent. If they describe it wrongly or not, it ends there!
@Jehty_3 ай бұрын
Why does that matter? A review is a review. As long as it wasn't done in mal-intent or gross negligence it doesn't matter if they are also selling the product. And the brand not liking negative feedback is tough luck.
@13thnotehifireviews73 ай бұрын
@@Jehty_of course a ‘review’ done by a firm who sells the product isn’t a review - it’s just product promotion and there will be hold harmless terms between the parties in the commercial contract for selling gear. It’s as much in the sellers interest too that the marketing is on the same page. Also they can’t benchmark and say what they think is better. A review means critical appraisal if that’s justified. A brand who sells the gear shouldn’t be doing bad reviews either themselves or via their agents, employees or associates. So it’s not tough luck, it’s a commercial thing. I’m all for honest reviews but very few are that way due to brands being the paymaster - goldensound was just given a Lina stack worth over £10k and you can bet from now on he won’t have anything bad to say about dcs.

GPT does have guards in place for making it very difficult for generating malicious code. A Cyber Security buddy and I did some rigorous testing in this regard. While I was able to get the information we wanted, it took ALOT of effort. And even then, it gave very basic code examples... At first.

Does the K suffix still mean unlocked multiplier? Seems like all the crashes are happening with OC oriented CPUs. I'm guessing they are not running stock.

hmm.... paying 370k in exchange for "trust me bro"? NO WAY, unless we see video! I'm sure this will not have any consequences for future hacking.

Anything over $20 for a DAC should be considered snake oil. Not an Apple fan but their USB-C to 3.5mm adapter jack measures perfectly in all respects. It is simply impossible to improve over this.

If they can sue someone for a bad review, then why review a product. I mean if you give an honest review and it puts the product in a bad light, why review any product if it can get you sued. If I were reviewers, I wouldn’t review any of that companies products out of fear I would end up in court over a bad review.

Ryzen getting EVEN MORE efficient? That's wild with how big the efficiency gap to Intel already is. I was thinking about switching to a different cooler because my current CPU fan can be slightly annoying. But if the efficiency gap increases even further, I just may switch from my current 13600KF to a Ryzen and make it quiter that way.
