In the advertising field, it is illegal to make ads that involve other brands that contain ways of damaging the brands' reputation (be it intentional or meme) and the one with Mr. Beast's commercial, that's basically one of them. You can technically include other brands but usually without anything harmful and sometimes if you get permission in a collaboration. Like Pepsi vs Coca Cola commercials. They made commercials involving one another but both sides aren't damaging the other.

And also the channel that you plan on advertising on doesn’t want to hurt relationships with the other company. Hershey has tons of commercials on a bunch of channels. If they see one channel air a commercial that insults their brand, they can threaten to no longer spend millions in ads on their network.

@@wittyusername9544 That's also one reason why it's illegal. Not only would it harm a brand's reputation, but also the business relations and worst of all: the public opinion where the public would have a false idea of a brand/company. What Mr.beast did is stupid to say the least.
