They have a 3 inch factory lift, not 2 inch. To better compare the price of the 2, you should add the ZR2 package III. The AT4X comes standard with heated and cooled seats. Bose sound system is standard in the AT4X. The AT4X also has passenger power seats if that is something some buyers would want. Nice review. Thanks so much.

You are Correct, my Colorado Trail Boss is 2inch lift, Z71 1 inch lift ZR2 3 inch

My 22 zr2 came with heated seats and steering wheel. Power seats for both front. Full leather . Didn't have to add. All came included. 44k

Awesome video now being able to see both trucks side by side. I would go with the ZR2 all day with these high prices on mid size trucks. But I do wish the Colorado came with the bumper lights on the face of the AT4X and the interior looks WAY better inside the GMC.

That ZR2 cost 11k more than my Colorado Trail Boss plus I got every option you can get on a TB! I would definitely choose that ZR2 over that GMC, that was a big price difference in the two!

Nice video. I have seen the AT4X in the flesh but not the ZR-2. I believe that either would put a smile on my face. I do like the styling on the Canyon a bit more.

Nice Review. Both are sweet trucks. I personally like the more aggressive lines of the ZR2 better (Bison is my choice). I prefer the interior of AT4X over ZR2 though. The cut-out in the bumpers aren't what give you the ground clearance, those are for better approach angles, which ZR2 has slightly a slightly better number at 38.2 v 36.9 on the Canyon.

I went with the AT4X and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. The white leather has stays clean with little effort and it is hands down worth the money.

Yeah ppl are complaining about the white, but I've had zero issues keeping it clean. It's not in places where you're going to get scuff marks on it or anything like that.

I have a white AT4X and the white seats look clean! The black ZR2 does look super nice though - like a lifted sports car from a head on view. Both look super sick with the Bison / AEV trim levels (if you can actually find them). I am super happy with the white AT4X. I would have bought either in black if they were readily available when I was shopping. 3:49 the Canyon does look a lot beefier!

I have the 22 zr2 v6. I drove the gutless 23 zr2. Not impressed. My hp and torque comes right out of the gate. Had choice 22 or 23. My 22 came fully loaded. Everything I got with 22 was 44k. I built the 23 the same as my 22 and price came to 57k. Not sold on the newer generation.

AT4X obviously looks better and more premium... BUT, is it a nice enough difference to justify the cost? Hard to say. But it is nicer.

Personally, I don't like the round air vents on the ZR2 interior. Probably just me 🤷‍♂️ I like the interior in the Canyon. Very sporty! Can't wait till I get one!

Looking online there were many used 2022 Colorado zr2 crew cabs.. I saw one with just 7,100 miles for sale for $40k and another for $37 with just 12k miles.. there was a 2021 zr2 with a diesel for sale! Why buy new when you can replace the screen infotainment with something even better than they have today for way less!

Compatible zr2 will have convenience package +1500; underbody camera +500: technology package +950; bose sound +500. Total ~52000. At4x is ~55K. The difference between the trucks is 2-3K. Not that much.

The 2.7 engine is build like the Duramax but with gasoline instead of diesel. So far, I have never encountered a problem with the engine. Do your regular maintenance on your truck and you should be good.
