Not gonna lie Kite’s move with Xyz Double Back did catch me off guard. If he hadn’t played it then he would lose the duel when he ends his turn. He only had 200 life points left so all Yuma had to do is draw a monster card with 200 or more attack points.

So Kite nearly beat Yuma during their first encounter. He pulled off a DRAW during their second encounter. Now, he finally beat Yuma in a FRIENDLY duel that doesn’t involve number hunting. So Kite has a record number of 15 wins, 2 losses, and 1 DRAW.

As much as I wanted Yuma to finally beat Kite, I think it’s better Kite won. This duel is more to renew Kite’s duelling motive rather than Yuma facing off for the last time with his biggest rival. I do think after series end, Yuma would beat Kite but just by a hair.

Meh potentially but tbh when the series completely ends and Yuma loses his numbers I'd say that Kite, Shark and Mizar are stronger then him due to the fact that Shark and Mizar still have their remaining numbers and Kites deck is basically unaltered because he doesn't use numbers.

Both Neo Galaxy Eyes and Utopia Ray had the same attack points so they destroyed each other. Utopia Ray does not have a “Cannot be destroyed by battle” effect to save itself. If you’re talking about the Numbers Rule in the anime then Neo Galaxy Eyes was still able to destroy Utopia Ray since it had no overlay units left as all number cards lose that benefit when they lose their overlay units. But yes Neo Galaxy Eyes effect only activated when it is first summoned.

Also, considering Galaxy Eyes emerged unscathed despite having the same number of attack points as acid golem, I think the actual rule for anime Acid Golem self destructs at the start of the damage step if it’s attacked without any overlay units. I’m not certain if that’s the case, but it’s the best guess I’ve got for acid golem.

I'm sorry but he's just a much better rival then shark he provides decent competition for Yuma and although a bit arrogant, it's well deserved. Not to mention he just fits in with the rival type of monster and he's the opposite and yet based of Kaiba. Hes amazing! The best Yugioh rival tbh. Not to mention when everyone loses their numbers at the end, it affectively confirms him as the strongest duelist still due to the fact his deck is unaltered save for number 62.

If only Yuma brought Utopia Ray back in defence then he wouldn't have lost to both Galaxy Eyes that turn as Neo Galaxy Eyes wouldn't have crashed into utopia ray and he would have been the only one able to pop his xyz double back. This could have possibly led to him winning depending on what he would've drawn next but that's left up to speculation at that point. Either way though, it buys Yuma another turn at least.
