Basically as the fight went on, Sukuna retracted his train of thought. Sukuna originally was thinking "If I do Gojo's method, I will be at a disadvantage if it backfires". Then as Sukuna truly realizes that Yuji's Domain / Soul Punch Combo can no longer be defended against, Cause of the Sure-Hit Effect of Domain, he basically said "Recovering is pointless, I need to break out of this kids Domain Expansion with my own to even have a chance of turning this around".

Hey Weeb I think what is going on around the confusion with Yuji domain expansion, is that Yuji does have his own Curse Technique and it involves his relationship with two specific characters Hakari and Higuruma. Both these characters are New Modern Age Sorcerers that possess Curse Techniques that function as a Domain Expansion. And I think Yuji has a similar curse technique style. Where his actual Curse Technique is a domain expansion. Bcuz Yuji is the only character to fight both those guys. But he fought them without being able to use his own Curse technique. So he was the perfect counter to these opponents but never got to counter them. Bcuz Gege was hinting that his CT was just like theirs. I think this is why Yuji is even able to put speed Sukuna because he just has to activate his CT, and Sukuna is being beaten by the Unconventional style of sorcery that was talked about as being hated by the higher ups back in season 1

Here me out here me out that last page with the finger is about to start a hot theory. What if this is a sign that Nobara is about to return. Cause the finger is the finger Gojo had kept away and it is most probably in a location like Jujutsu high. Why would Gege show us sukunas finger if it has no importance to both Yuji and Sukuna in the current fight as it can’t be utilized nor gained by any of the two. So with Megumi now starting to fight back internally disrupting the soul bond between him and sukuna and Yuji putting that work on Sukuna with his soul splitting techniques it only stands fit that Nobara with her soul resonance technique is the final blow they need to save megumi. Nobara only needs a part or piece of a victim to engage her curse technique and sukuna’s fingers hold a portion of his soul which can now establish a link. But just speculation of course

The critters that form the ten shadows are dead. Megumi still has his shadow though. As far as I can tell there isn't a critter associated with the activation of his shadow. So the technique isn't dead, the critters are. Probably also meaning the domain expansion is dead as well but not absolutely. We see in his first use of the domain Megumi uses a shadow clone to fight alongside. So imo he could probably still use his domain but would be limited to only his clones and the other properties of his own shadow. So the shenanigans he pulled on Reggie are still in play and his 'got you toes' move as we see is very much still in play.

The last panels are weirdly done. But from my understanding. Sukuna slashed him and his gauntlets broke. As he was going to open the domain he noticed yujis fingers missing at the same time Yuji did his domain either faster because of the slight distraction or I’m thinking a binding vow to make it faster using his fingers. But I doubt it I think yuji been lost those two fingers and created his own cursed object before the fight. Could be dead wrong tho and the last page is just an interpretation of sukuna getting caught in yujis domain. This chapter was good but we honestly need to stop ignoring the holes in the story here. 1. Sukuna should never have had Mahoraga. He had no time to obtain him with fighting Yorozu after the bath and summoned him then and stated he defeated him with Furnace. But the ritual was null due to Haruta being there. 2. Sukuna saying the shinigami are all gone. Another hole going off how it was explained to us. The dog, the frog, the tiger, the elephant were never destroyed once. Totality should be given to the dog as stated before. This the dog should inherent the strength or other shinigami. Unless loosing Mahoraga kills the tech which has and was not stated. These issues are real and I'm so mad content creators ignoring this for hype. I still enjoy the series and love it but it's not the perfect manga that people are portraying. Few different theories for that whole bit about the 10 shadows. Perhaps this just means that sukuna and megumi are considered 2 different beings by the technique, despite being in the same body. So megumi still has access to the same shadows as before. This would also explain why sukuna had mahoraga despite megumi not actually defeating him during the ritual. Sukuna DID defeat him and now has his own 10 shadows which includes mahoraga since he defeated. Maybe im wrong about that last part and sukuna just offscreened him later idk lol

Maybe its showing sukuna's last fingers or maybe this is the finger which kenjaku used to creat yuji so he can cage sukuna or to make a vessel for sukuna or sukuna seeing yuji's source power is coming from that finger . Also the spiral starecase kinda reminded me of uzumaki ( not junji ito ) like geto's maximum CT to seal or capture curses . Not that im saying yuji has that CT but instead thats what Uzumaki spiral structure meant .

The finger that is missing if from the same hand of gauntlet that was broken? If it is, it's possible that he gave a finger to someone else before joining the fight but used the gauntlet to hide this. And if this is true, it's possible that the one holding his finger is nobara.

@@AntonioFelipePitta Nobara is dead. One of the finger was cut by Sukuna to use it as a cursed tool to transfer his soul in Megumi, the other one was given to Yuta. Sukuna thought Yuta got shrine by feeding Rika the last finger, in reality Rika ate a finger of Yuji, then he used those demonic-like hands as gauntlets and when Sukuna cut that it was revealed he missed two fingers and not just one. That’s the last finger.

I think megumi hasn’t eaten sukunas finger, it was itadoris fingers from the start. The one tied is truly sukunas finger. And the gauntlets were hiding it from sukuna. I think that’s why yuji was able to touch megumis soul cus megumi ate yujis finger and not sukunas. All the slashes and soul punches were just to throw sukuna off scent. With the confidence yuji had last chapter it all makes sense.

I think they gonna bring nobara back for this chapter to use resonance on the finger of sukuna to do more soul damage. I'm not really a Nobara fan though so i would just like to see yuji piece him up.
