Not exactly... The dude was just made from jin so he could contain sukuna. That's the only thing given to him. Everything else was pretty hard to get and master. The black flash, ce control and blood manipulation is all him. Even shrine is 257 chapters late and he didn't show much. The dude also took a backseat for almost the whole story. It's pretty different.. More closer to someone like Naruto( except the inside demon is really a demon) than ichigo. Ichigo was him and every strength was him.

Shows the real fans have been paying attention and that Gege has actually been doing proper foreshadowing this whole time with real payoff in the story. The fact that we even had these theories in the first place shows that Gege has been setting up the story for these plot points the whole time and fans caught the hints. So many little set-ups like maki/mai twin situation foreshadowing Sukunas or Gojo saying Yuji will get his CT or even his CT being Shrine and that being the censored "black box" word from the Shibuya Fuga scene.

Ok so translations were a bit wonky on the brother part, and although I could be wrong, it's best to clarify things. So either 1 of 2 things are correct here; either it said that yuji was the dead soul of his twin brother whom sukuna ate in his mother's womb so he wouldn't starve, or Yuji's DAD is the soul of Sukuna's twin brother that kenjaku had sex with to create yuji to become Sukuna's vessel for his plan. Second one is wild, but that seems to be the case

I think the mention of Yuji's shrine being different due to era and representation of user (presumably meaning the interpretation of the technique) is very interesting. The 2 times Yuji uses Shrine, specifically the slashes of shrine, they have indicator lines that appear as scissors and dotted lines. The slashes Yuji was only when he made contact which I believe would be cleave. If Yuji can send a flying slash I wonder what that would look like. There doesn't seem to be any other effect other than being a visual indicator but it's possible the slashes could work differently and he just can't send flying slashes. Either way, there's still the question of the black box/fire arrow and whether or not that is apart of the Shrine technique or not. I'm leaning more towards it actually being apart of shrine. With Kusakabe's explanation referencing a black box system and not a literal black box that Sukuna somehow spoke. Its most likely a text placeholder. As if Sukuna could manipulate his black box where the technique is stored and turn it into fire, it doesn't make sense that he hadn't figured out how to recover his technique after using his domain until he saw Gojo do it. Also consecutive would mean every hit he would actually land back to back would be a black flash. He stopped at 5 when he punched Sukuna into that wall as that wasn't a black flash

And given the look of Sukuna's domain and the Shrine being more so a throne I think it would make sense that would be the function of it. That doesn't answer however the reason Yuji also has slashing attacks. So maybe there si just more to the technique that Yuji possibly doesn't know about or doesn't know how to utilize properly. He 100% knows about the fire arrow so if he knows how to use it, we'll see a similar ability in the next 2 chapters but I think Sukuna will be the one to show more of the Shrine technique and not Yuji.

The only question I have now is if sukuna knew that yuji had all this potential from before which uraume confirms he knew; and we all know sukuna absolutely hates him…. Why didn’t sukuna try harder to kill him sooner. I think it is because of the fact that Yuji is essentially Sukuna but good. He doesn't care about the reasons, he just does what he knows what's right, versus Sukuna's hedonism. Combined with the fact that Sukuna killed him once in the womb, of course Sukuna hates him. He is the alternate true path Sukuna could and should have taken. As a result, due to the fact now Yuji rivaled and surpassed Sukuna, and brought him down to this level, it only make sense why Sukuna hates him so much. Yuji is Sukuna, and what is more boring than a person who pushes through the pain, has the same mindset as you, and is so predictable to you? As such, that is why this is so cathartic to see Sukuna die like this. Against a boring brat who supposedly knows nothing compared to Sukuna the "Enlightened," and yet tramples on him. Of course that would enrage him, he can't twist Yuji in any way.
