Well this made me cry. This is the most beautiful of Chopin's Nocturnes in my opinion.

Tttribe1 Same feeling, she perforned it perfectly. But I also like Chopin's Nocturne op 48 in c-minor. Pitty she didn't perform it :(

In my opinion, one of the best interpretations of the Nocturne I have heard. The Nocturne reminds me of contemplating the moon on a starry night. Don't you just love Chopin's last two chords in the final resolution ? Truly beautiful. JRG.

Great performance. Emotional and yet controlled. Unlike most other versions, the mid-section has excitement without distorted rhythm. Expressive asynchrony was tastefully done.

I absolutely love her interpretation. One of the best I have heard - and I have heard tons of them. Great power and control. I love her clean yet no too dry sound during the middle part.

Every reading of Chopin that she does surprises me a lot. She puts her technique purely at the service of interpretation, sometimes she sacrifices an entire section so that the next reaches an audible shock in the listener. It is definitely something very special.

This will be my source reference for when I try to tackle this amazing composition from Chopin! Thanks for sharing your talent and being so brave to do this in front of all those people. Amazing.

Nocturne in C sharp minor, Op. 27 No. 1 "inside the author" - Considering that all inspiration from Chopin's creative spectrum comes from his Polish reminiscences, the poem begins as something like this: "There was a time when things were like this", in a in the second section he increases the intensity of these memories until he reaches a sort of euphoric Waltz, until the obscurantism of reality brings him more dense feelings. The poem ends in a tone of personal recovery.

0:57 that low G in the left hand is supposed to be played a little later on in that section, but outside of that an amazing interpretation. I've still yet to perfect the left hand jumps in the middle section myself so this will provide me some inspiration to continue practising.

It’s a beautiful, colorful interpretation, very nice for a big concert hall, but could be a bit much in an intimate salon. It’s strange though, she hits a g in the bass at 1:03, instead of a c. on my edition it’s a c. Other than that, I like it very much.
