We just love eating Kimchi. Making our own is cheaper and taste better.
Below is the ingredients for making Kimchi:
Wong Bok - 1 piece
Carrot - 1 piece
Radish - Half
Kimchi Paste:
Pear - 2 small or 1 big
Ginger - Around 50g (can be adjusted accordingly)
Garlic - Around 10 pieces (can be adjusted accordingly)
Sugar - 6 Tablespoons (can be adjusted accordingly)
Fish Sauce - 3 Tablespoons (can be adjusted accordingly)
Chilli Flakes - (As you like depend on spicy you want the Kimchi)
Steps:
1) Cut the Wong Bok, Carrot and Radish. Set aside.
2) Take Salt and rub the Wong Bok. Set aside for it to sweat. Around 6 hours.
3) Use Blender and blend the Kimchi Paste.
4) Mix the Kimchi paste with the Carrot and Radish. Set aside. (Put into the refrigerator.)
5) 6 Hours later, take the Wong Bok and wash off the salt.
6) Drip off access water and put to dry.
7) Rub the Kimchi paste onto the Wong Bok.
8) Put into a container. Set aside in room temperature.
9) Next day, Kimchi can be place into refrigerator.
10) Ready to eat in a few days time for better taste.
