What I like about your channel is that there is natural sounds in the video. No music of any kind or any other sound that blocks the actual sounds. It let's you feel what is being cooked and enjoy the video.

My Japanese mother owned her own restaurant. I lost her 13 years ago. She took all of her recipes with her when a brain aneurysm took her from us in a blink. Her food was how she expressed love. She grew up in war torn Japan; a poor and starving child. She'd tell me about her hunger pains and watching her emaciated mother give up her portions so she could have just a little bit more. Feeding people and having them leave her full and happy was her act of kindness. God, I miss her.

I grew up in a restaurant family and I remember learning how to make gyoza, wontons, egg rolls, tempura, ramen broth, fried rice, and other dishes. So glad I did because it made me appreciate the work done in the kitchen, especially if it's family run. These are great behind the scene videos of food prep and cooking skills that they have, so keep them coming. Only problem is that it just makes you hungry watching these vids. I always have to run to the kitchen and see what I have so that I can make these dishes. I've made so many versions of fried rice that my wife is tired of it. I'm half Asian so it's in my blood. 😅 Time to go make some gyoza now.
