I feel like in the "if i die, would you cry or would you come and bury me alive" part, he's talking of a figurative death, like emotional death, and he's asking if someone would care for him if he's in that state or if they all would let him alone, that's what i think he means (i always related a lot with that feeling) (sorry english is not my first language so idk if you understand what i'm saying)

Oh man one day you need to check out the Brixton Academy show he uploaded to youtube (it was his biggest ever UK show and meant so much to him). You get the full epic experience and it's everything. So the H4TUY line- I've always read it as: If I died would you cry- i.e. if I disappeared today have I made an impact, do I really matter to people, would you miss me; Or would you come and bury me alive- i.e. or would you turn on me and say I was overrated, never worth it, forget anything I did. I've always read it as- is my impact genuine of is it superficial? Do you really see me and like me or am I just something you can forget. I think the death is a double meaning (which he does a lot) of if I literally died would I have mattered, and also, if I figuratively died- if my career suddenly stopped- would my music have mattered. Community is everything to Yungblud and I think the line speaks to that relationship but also to the wider world. If you are feeling alienated it's a cry of- did I matter to the alienated youth or to the world, or am I just a blink and you miss it thing with no impact. I loved this reaction. Welcome to the epicness that is Yungblud live. Recorded is good but live, wow. And also the live instruments just hit harder. -I also recommend the Reading and Leeds set songs- Loner is one you haven't heard I think. And that performance of H4TUY is so emotional.

First, I absolutely love your videos Steven! I love seeing your reaction to music that brings me so much joy. I was fortunate enough to meet Dom in September of 2019. I was so surprised at the fact I actually got to meet him after such an amazing show. He was incredibly kind and when we chatted, he grabbed both my hands, and looked in my eyes, just 10" from my face for the entire 2-3 minutes we talked. He made me feel so important and I absolutely adore him. As a 46 year year old "soccer mom", I was surprised that he came over to me multiple times during the concert (before I met him) and he even gave me a worn sweaty t-shirt (Yes I still have it!)😍 After the show, I was lucky enough to have a security guard arrange a m&g right before he got on the bus. I can't tell you why he decided to be so kind to me and single me out amongst so many people, but it's something I'll never forget. I've been a fan of his since he had less than 200k followers and I've loved seeing him grow into the artist he is as a get the recognition he deserves. I absolutely adore him and I love all that he stands for. He truly is an important voice for this generation of kids. I'll forever cherish his parting words to me as he was jumping on the bus...."I fookin luv you!" I can't wait to see him on tour next time he comes to the west coast....My husband already knows I'll be traveling to multiple venues to see him again because he's just that great in concert. I how you'll get to see for yourself what an amazing show he puts on! 🖤🖤🖤🖤 On a sidenote, IMO, his absolute best live performance is "God Is A Lucid Heart Shaped Box" which is a mashup of Ariana Grande/Nirvana/JuiceWrld. OH MY GOD is it awesome. I just love it so much. I always love his own music but he does incredible mashup's! My second favorite mashup...."Havana & New Rules" by Camila Cabello & Dua Lipa. Ugh. So good. Thanks again Steven. You're so awesome and as a fellow Swiftie, I have to tell you that your love for music is just so pure, that you bring me so much joy watching you. I think it’s more of his personality dying. With him saying my personality got fucked up by the aderol and the song medication. From a fan watching interviews and knowing he was put on different kinds of medication who turned him into someone he isn’t I believe that he means if that part of his personality were to die would people care enough to cry and help or would they bury that part even though it isn’t fully gone/ dead.
