The reason Rill's dragon had the gem on its forehead is because its a mythical beast called a Voivre which is basically a dragon lady with a gem/third eye kinda thing on its forehead

The thing that I like with both Asta's and Yuno's last fight in this tournament arc is that on one hand you have a very serious and rage full fight which is typical in some scenarios but then you have the other side which is the enjoyment of battle sometimes and how fun it can be. I liked that we saw the duality of that in their matches.

I think Rill was being serious at the end BUT I dont think he was being pushed to his limit though. Rill was looking for more while Yuno was struggling to keep from losing ground, Rill would've won eventually. Also... SPOILER ALERT!!! Kind of... it's nothing real major but it is info from way in the future at this point... Current Yuno in the latest manga chap. is someone that could possibly take a Capt. (Capt.s still have superior combat experience though) lets not forget his current power level is a result of Bell spending 72+ hours straight storing up as much mana as she possibly could specifically for the current fight. I dont expect Yuno will be able to maintain that level of mana afterwards, could be wrong though.

Actually I think the Wizard King was saying that Zara was the one that inspired him to create the Star System with his staff/aides. Pretty sure Zara was killed well before Julius had become the Wizard King.

In the anime version, Rill got serious but at the same time, he was playing with Yuno and didn't push himself to his own limits, while Yuno was starting to have some difficulties during the battle. But in the manga version they were equal in a lot of power to push their limits to each other. And Rill destroying his own crystal happened in the same way as in the anime. Tabata made a good decision to choose a winner without putting aside the merits of both mages. Yuno and his incredible transformation, and Rill being the youngest captain and a prodigy, that was a good move from the author.

Rill for me is at least top 5 of the captains in terms of magic and talent since hes the youngest of them all, he just lacks exp that puts him to the bottom in terms of overall ranking. For me this are the list of captains in terms of magic: 1. Mereoleona/Fuego - Royalty 2. Nozel - Royalty 3. Yami - foreigner (unknown lineage) 4. Vangeance - i put him below yami coz i think yami has more magic its just vengeance has more merit making golden dawn top 1. 5. Rill - hes a prodigy being a captain at such a young age 6. Dorothy - i kinda feel shes above charlotte 7. Charlotte - shes what you call a standard captain 8. Jack - former commoner 9. Kaiser - oldest captain, as per black clover, your magic weakens drastically when you aged. What do think? Hahha
