So the town from the show is easily accessible by public transit, the first and third campsite we went to is only accessible by car, but the main one from the show with the amazing view of mount Fuji is accessible by bus but the bus only runs once a day so you'd have to spend the night there. “She smelled the Weeb on us from a mile away!” 🤣🤣🤣 That was hilarious! I have been living in Japan since 1998, but not into anime, so I had never heard of Yuru Camp until yesterday (2021/03/17) when I saw a few Japan camping related videos back to back which had several posters in the comments mentioning ‘Yuru Camp’...which is how I found your vid. I guess hipster me and my bro have been doing ‘Yuru’/laid back camping for a few years now😄 (videos of some of them are on my channel, including my pre-Logan Paul Aokigahara solo overnighter)...without knowing that it was a ‘thing’...LOL! 🤣
Its funny how the owners of the lake shibire campsite knew you were there for the yuru camp locations. They must get a lot of yuru camp fans visiting that campsite. I'm definitely going to have to visit these places myself. They look so fun! Great job on the comparisons they look amazing!

Just completed the Yuru Camp Yamanashi pilgrimage! My first location was Lake Motosu and it felt so surreal for me. All I kept thinking was "holy crap, I'm actually here!" I was getting overwhelmed for some reason. Mt Fuji really is something else. No wonder Nadeshiko is so in love with it. Second location was Motosu High School but I didn't realise the school was actually closed and couldn't make it pass the front door :(. Lake Shibire was super magical. The cold froze the lake and it felt so otherworldly. My last location in Yamanashi was the Hottarakashi Onsen. Best place since they were tattoo friendly! Made a pitstop at Hamamatsu Betenjima Seaside Park to see the torri gate in the water that Rin was staring at in season 2. There were a bunch of other places I wanted to see but the snow was pretty insane in Yamanashi. Hoping to go to Izu next time I go to Japan!
