Of coyrse you can warch this withiut watching the first season. It's chapter 0 of the manga, when this chapter came out chapter 1 didn't exist, it's the pilot chapter.

To clarify the end credits. Yuta is being trained in Africa by that guy because gojo spared him for putting up a good fight. As long as he trained him. And in the series panda says that maki is usually happier when yuta is around.

He wasn't there to train he is a special grade he dosent need to he was there for another purpose which we will see play again in season 3.

Yuta wears a white jersey so he can be differentiated from other sorcerers as a trouble maker. Notice how as the movie ends yutas becomes a grade 4 sorcerer and starts wearing black but regains the title of special grade after 4 months and is given back the white jersey.it’s nice how all the special grades have a different style to their clothing.😂

Jami, Yuta was mentioned in the Jujutsu Kaisen episode 5 when Maki, Panda and Inumaki were introduced in the show for the first time. Megumi said the there is one more Okkotsu Yuta, who is the only one Megumi actually respects the most and Megumi also mentions that Yuta was overseas and thats why we didn't see Yuta in the series. Maybe we will see him in Season 2.

We did see him in one scene flashback but that about it he is in the 2nd opening tho so on also movie after credit is where gojo had went in anime during trip to get yuta to return to japan

What a way to start the new year! I watched this movie in theaters, and it was worth every penny. One of my favorite scenes easily was Yuta walking into the classroom and the sheer amount of curse energy freaking the students out. And we got to see Nanami set his Black Flash record!

Yes, Yuuta was mentioned and shown a couple of times in the 1st season. Megumi said that Yuuta was the only senpai who he respects, and it was also mentioned that Yuuta was the reason why the Tokyo Team got a sweeping victory against the Kyoto Team on last year's annual Tokyo vs Kyoto battle event (which implies that he is a lot stronger than Todo and Yuuji)

S1 and movie are all light hearted and wholesome , S2 will make the charecters drown in despair and at the same time is too still cannot think how can story take such a drastic turn with only 2 arcs, but u love to see it.

Yuuta actually is mentioned to be overseas in the anime, during episode five of the first season. Megumi mentions that he's is the only one he actually respects, so I'm thnking their relationship is similar to Nobara and Maki's.

This man is a goat, Goatsu Yuta. Watched this movie not once, not twice, but 3 whole times in theaters, i love it and him sm. Good way to get the new yr going. In addition to Rika coming out in the classroom at jjk and scaring Inumaki and them, Geto’s monologue before the final fight, as he was walking while Inumaki and them were beat, i love that scene too, it transitioned so well to the final fight between Yuta and Geto. Yuta using the cursed speech too, never over that, still not over that

It's funny because she was very likely a psychopath when alive. The ring was her parent's, who died mysteriously in accidents (her dad disappeared with her in the woods, and only she was found), leaving her to be raised by her grandmother. Her fanbook entry is really creepy.

idk if anyone said it or not, but the reason Toge doesn't say anything more extreme is bc it affects him more. This is just what I've gathered from the show, but the word he uses amps up the amount of feedback damage done to him, for example telling someone to die or explode will do significantly more damage to him than him telling them to run or something. And then depending on who he's using it on it becomes even more difficult, probably depending on the amount of cursed energy and if the target is actively defending themselves. For example, stronger cursed spirits have more cursed energy, so it takes more out of him. The pack of low grade spirits didn't affect him too much, even with a word like 'explode'. Even so, the amount of them and the strength of the word still wore him out. Then the semi-first grade Geto sent he had a hard time damaging without repeated uses of strong words, and each one did a lot of damage to him. Now doing it to a sorcerer? Another level of difficulty. They can have a lot of cursed energy, plus they can defend against it like Kamo said in season 1 with their own cursed energy. So if Toge tried to tell a special grade like Geto to die while Geto is protecting himself? Toge could very well end of killing himself trying that. Even Yuta could only say 'die' to a pack of lower level curses, and he's a special grade with a special grade curse at his side. Him saying die in front of Geto did nothing bc either Geto defended himself, or Yuta didn't waste the effort to try, knowing it was probably futile. Toge spewed tons of blood just telling Geto to plummet as well. This was lengthy, but I always found cursed speech to be one of the more interesting powers.

Yuta and orihime have the most powerful experedsions of love in anime. Yuta loves rika despite being a cursed. Orihime cried and suffered watching ichigo in pain despite having her memories altered to the point where Ichigo was the antagonist. I love those 2 characters for that reason
