Yvette, I started playing guitar after hearing Eddie Van Halen play eruption back in 1979, I was 17 years old, It was almost unreal that guitar playing like that was even possible, after watching your videos I'm again amazed at what is possible on the guitar, your generation has takin the two handed playing style to a hole new level, it's so inspiring just to watch you do what you do, at 57 years old I'm not trying to play like you but it makes me try to do what I do to the extreme and stretch my playing to my limit a bit, thank you.

haven't gotten too far into chon at this point. i've seen headbanging to cleans ( & even to music that isn't "metal" ), i just always find it funny.

kodiak wild It is. But when you get to feel the music, sometimes you can't help but headbang to everything.

You play the guitar like a stringed piano. It's so cool lol. I can't even fathom how to begin learning such a technique. Dope
@SalimSivaad3 жыл бұрын
All pianos are stringed pianos.
@JGHFunRun3 жыл бұрын
It’s called tapping. You just hit the fret you want to play, without picking. It’s not as loud but you can use a compressor pedal to make it louder without adding too much noise. However it can get hard. Example of hard tapping to do: this song

Yeah.... its obvious she learned this way --- but HOW..?
@nbtrue02 жыл бұрын
@@csnide6702 If I'm not mistaken she has a piano background and moved to guitar. And I believe trying to mimic the way piano is played, eventually led to this unique style.

wait can anyone verify its math rock. or just syncopated.

TheAlbinoskunk I don't think it needs any singing to be math rock. There are a whole bunch of beautiful instrumental math rock bands
@jacoblindsey76757 жыл бұрын
Most math rock is instrumental honestly. Lol. And, whether or not you like that term, it exists, as well as many bands that classify themselves as math rock bands.

She really understands her music and feels her playing, truly incredible.I’m in awe right now and full of goosebumps! You have yourself a new subscriber. I might add your beautiful as well ❤️🇨🇦🎸
