Ten years down the road he committed suicide and left her and her mom alone wondering about the decisions he had forced on them. My ex had such beautiful dark brown eyes and I knew everything she was thinking just by looking. They really are a window into the soul and one day I looked and it was different I could tell she still loved me but it wasn't the same. Then a week later she broke up with me and I learned that an old friend of mine was spreading rumors about me to her and they're still together now I absolutely hate his guts but I still love her and I'm just so unbelievably glad that she's happy. This is just my opinion, and I hope it doesn't offend you, I'm just letting you know how I would personally feel if I were in your situation based on the information you've posted. If the rumors were not true, and she decided to trust and believe your old friend instead of you, then there was possibly a pre-existing attraction or emotional connection between them for a decent amount of time before she broke up with you, and she possibly didn't really "love" you, even though you might have thought she did. 100% real mutual love is unbreakable, an immovable object and an irresistible force that cannot be changed by anything, especially not by "rumors".
