I think she is really growing into a more intentional celebrity with what she chooses to share + her responsibility to share. this song SPEAKS to me. i went through this exact same mindset. i experienced a fairly amicable breakup, and i couldn't move on because there was nothing to hate. i couldn't let a good thing go, and i always tried to paint him as some sort of villain just to make myself feel better about losing a good thing. he never did anything wrong, but making him evil made it hurt less until it didn't. it was only when i realized that not all good things are good for me that i finally was at peace, and could move on without trying to hate him

This is an amazing song, so important, and so recognizable of my own breakup. The complexity of emotions and the combined vulnerability and healing aspects of the sentiment ‘I wish I hated you’ is so essential.
