I went back and rewatched Man Of Steel and B Vs S Ultimate Edition. Has more respect for what Synder had envisioned. I didn't realize that was Jimmy from Superman until you said awesome. Barely remembers a thing from 2017 version so this was extra good.

That little girl who wants to grow up to be like Diana is a possible Donna Troy (Wonder Girl) easter egg. Donna Troy was an orphan rescued by Wonder Woman from an apartment building fire before she brought her back to be raised by Queen Hippolyta after not being able to find her birth parents.

Okay, I'm finally glad to say this: I was kinda right about Snyder's vision, I was wrong about Snyder. And yes, after rewatching some DC movies with the new addition of BvS Ultimate Edition (which was better than the theatrical release), I'm finally on board again and in sync with Zack's vision, but it's better late than never. It comes very close to Man of Steel for me (my favourite DCEU movie to date). This is tributed to the man himself. ZACK SNYDER'S JUSTICE LEAGUE: The Art is mightier than the Machine. (Non-spoilery) PART 1 - THE SCARS THAT DEFINE US Initially, I didn't feel overwhelmed at the prospect of watching 2 hours of Josstice League and 4 more hours of Zack's Justice League as I thought this wouldn't fix those annoying arc problems. Well, my criticism still maintains about some things that worried me since BvS like Lex's character, undermining the "Death of Superman" story after no Man of Steel 2, and how this juggernaut could ever fit in a theatrical release. But this story is not meant to be seen the same way we see a Marvel property. This story, much like the DC Universe, is about gods and epic myths and should be seen with a different sort of fascination, like we expect from an epic tale of epic proportions with a slight tint of Watchmen and similar tones which are very specific to Zack's own background. PART 2 - THE LEAGUE WE NEEDED, BUT NOT THE ONE WE DESERVED OH MAN! What a spectacle! Snyder and Nolan know how to tell a story! And it plays like an epic book novel through beautiful otherworldly imagery. The effects are definitely better in every single thing, it's tonally cohesive, the introduction was brilliant with Superman's scream giving the sense of a lost beacon of hope, all the scenes finally make a lot of sense now (except for Wonder Woman doing a "superhero landing" in white high heels... who the hell thought of that?), my man Barry Allen was finally treated as the legend he is (and not the annoying dweeb we were first presented), Aquaman lost a few moments of great team banter but gained some great ones as well (still love Jason Mamoa), Wonder Woman was treated as an Amazon warrior (and not as an object for butt shots and other detrimental stuff), I wish Ben Affleck returned to his role after this (his suit and demeanor finally felt like the Batman I know and love), this Superman is THE Superman I expected, not "Frankensupes", and the black costume is a nice little touch for many reasons (I even cried a little during the MoS theme, must admit) and Alfred is more delightfully british than ever. But the biggest improvement is Cyborg, who comes as a new center piece and whose story finally touches home - a deep story about tragic loss done right. Even Steppenwolf's scenes and intentions make sense now. PART 3 - THE END OF A JOURNEY Zack's art goes into very deep places and offers great craftsmanship and theatrics. It shows you the little details about these myths and places and why you should care about them (whether it's Themyscira, Atlantis, Gotham or Apokolips). He actually understands DC Comics on a level I didn't expect but some fans had hoped for years. This means it's never late to prove art prevails, even though it wouldn't work as a theatrical release. Loved the reaction, I want to see the rest, and yes - "Snyderverse is restored", at least imo. This is the Justice League. Now it's time for another party in "Falcon and Winter Soldier".

It's so hard for me to see J'onn as anyone but David Harewood(from the Arrowverse), until today. Harry f*cking KILLED it as J'onn. Yes we didn't see much of Darkseid, but we only needed to see how powerful the avatar of tyranny is capable of being. This was an amazing part 5 to the story we started with Man Of Steel, particularly with Bruce still having knightmares. This is what we deserved in 2017, no doubt. I want more from this. We now live in a society where in 2 years we've gotten both Crisis and Darkseid. I'm here for it

I'm one of the few you loved the theatrical version. I prefer it over the first Avengers. I liked the cast more and I just enjoyed it more. That being said, Zach Snyder's Justice League is miles and miles above what either company has done in the last 20+ years (apart from Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy and Joker). Warner Bros. was smart to let him complete his vision. This movie NEEDS a sequel. The only bad thing about this film is that it's not being shown in theaters. That is a disservice to one of the greatest comics book movies ever.

Buddy had to open his mouth and spoil the sincerity of the moment when the school girl asked WonderWoman if she could be like her one day🙄 - such a quick snappy NO! I thought that moment was so touching and had so much heart, I was teary and rewound that sequence. Alot of these reviewers really spoil the review when they talk over a scene and not feel the scene. 🎬
