ZAFIRA B changing 02 oxygen lambda sensor location 1 bank 1

It works great but they last 2 years this is the second one, but huge difference in mpg from 25mpg to 35mpg

hi, it was water dispenser spray which I used to expel the rust while removing the O2SENSOR so when the block was hit it caused smoke

it was just the contact cleaner has nothing to do with sensor ,car is doing fantastic on mileage now 28.9mpg I was getting 23.5 prior to this

a massive '0' out of 10 for accessibility for this sensor .Vauxhall's could not have made removing this component more difficult if they tried. Everything is strategically placed to force you into a dealership.

you need a proper tool costs about £3-5 on amazon, not that difficult once you are able to do it first time , yes it was very frustrating for the first time I tried

Are you sure this is sensor 1 at bank 1? I have error code P0134 for this sensor but not sure about the location. According to this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/bHXbaqV_e8l1bMk the sensor 1 bank 1 might be located from other side of engine. I am confused. Update: according to this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGKUlK2Km8SambM it looks like only V6 and V8 engines have two of these sensors, sorry for false alarm

Hi Yes, Bank 1 Sensor 1 is the first sensor closest to the engine. On Bank 1 means it is at the engine side with cylinders 1, 3, 5, 7, etc. Bank 1 Sensor 2 is the second sensor on the engine's exhaust pipe, After scanning my car that was the error code and I replaced it straight away it improved have a look the error scanned in this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/b5-kZIipbc2eaJY

Crap parts.from China. Spend.the money on a proper part, there are some things you really can't cut corners with and car parts are one. It will save you money and bother in the long run.
