I have come to realize that in a way Sakura embodies the concept of their group the most. She may appear soft-spoken but at her core she has a mentality stronger than steel. Criticism\Hate from others leave her unbothered if she doesn't think it's warranted. And if she thinks it's valid she just goes and fixes her mistakes. She chases hardships and conquers them because she believes the things in live that matter are worth the struggle

I was a Jpop fan back when I was younger and my fav group was the 48G and it really peaked when Sakura is in her prime and center of the group; after that I watched a little bit of Iz*one because jpop idols crossing over to kpop was mind-blowing to me at the time, fast forward to recent times when I first discovered Le Sserafim through Antifragile, I was even more mind-blown by first impressions bcos I legit couldn't recognise Sakura at first and was like "is this really the same Sakura I used to know????" and I realised that she REALLY is still that Sakura I used to watch but just infinitely better since then,but I just temporarily couldn't grasp the idea that she is the face I liked to watch in both genres of music and I used to love and have come to love now and I really stan all five girls so hard now. ❤ (You're welcome to laugh at me for such a cheesy comment 😂)

as an old gen 48G fan and followed HKT48, I can safely say that Sasshi (Sashihara Rino) laid the groundwork for her younger members to succeed later on until she graduated. Sasshi was basically the "mom" of HKT48 and when she graduated, Kkura was devastated but she had no choice but to move on. It seems like Kkura learned all of these from Sasshi and applied it during her Pd48 and LeSserafim. that's many says Kkura is like the "mom" of the group. when Sakura joined PD48, some "Wota" purist were enraged and some left the fandom because they felt that Kpop and Jpop don't mix like oil and water. fandom wars went left and right. and then IzOne era came and suddenly the war kinda went silent coz many saw different 48g members participated. and now that Le Sserafim is active with Sakura, both Jpop and Kpop fans begin to explore each sides. this proves that idols can cross cultures so no need for fandom wars 😂

I first thought that a Trainee that doesnt get a chance to debut is the hardest thing to accept, but the other end of the scale where you debut, but your group breaks up, that can be heart wrenching. To go through the debut process 3x different times is very hard on her. You make friends and colleagues then you hear from you management company that your group is disbanding....ouch. Yeah Sakura has it rough, but she is resilient and she keeps on trying, even going to South Korea to try again. I wish her the best!!!
