Second wrio is objectively worst fontain dps (from limited 5*) he almost as bad as fremine and not much better than meme c6 lynette with xianyun and c6 faruzan Even if we just throw away cacls in which wrio have 60-70k dps vs 80-100k for literally every other fontain 5* carry at kqms, he just have nothing to outweigh his mid dps, like navia could frontload her dmg, as well as lyney and even in a long fight they have same or even more dps, wrio suffers from circle impact while being melee carry (lyney have at least some range and navia could just bench bennet for other teams, like 2 geo xianyun furina)

I'll admit Zajef's comments on Wheelchair are pretty funny when you consider Hyperbloom is essentially the same thing but with 3 units and a driver instead of 2 units and a 2-unit core. I'd say the primary difference is that it's possible to assemble a hyperbloom core out of pocket lint & duct tape, whereas wheelchair takes two 5*s, one of which essentially has zero purpose outside of the wheelchair core. It ultimately just depends on whether you're willing to spend 180-360 pulls to make a more compact version of Hyperbloom, I guess.

A lot of people are saying "why should I get Lyney when I already got Arlecchino?", but to me it's always been "Why should I get Arlecchino when I already got Lyney?" I'm one of the few people who got Lyney in his first banner. I like his playstyle. I think he's cute. His damage is fantastic, I can already comfortably clear abyss, he's here as my only other Pyro DPS (because OPPA exists, and OPPA was already my first scenario where I didn't pull a single Pyro 5 star just because I already had her om) and it's probably staying that way for a very long time. I don't care about Arlecchino enough nor do I see her QoL/relatively equal damage as good enough to pull for her.

If you need a team that can drive other elements and reactions (i.e. you need Xingqiu/Fischl) then Arlecchino is ideal since you're normal attack focused and can drive that without sacrificing too much AoE. I got Lyney and Arlecchino I don't see the point of restricting myself to one playstyle, if I have the pulls I have the pulls! 🎉

I wasn't really going for him way back 4.0 but I got him very early while sniping for Lynette copy and also managed to get his r1 while trying to get Aqua. I don't have a dedicated pyro main dps back then so I was happy to have him and that he's nicely strong. I did eventually pull Arlecchino even though I already have him coz I want to try her Bond of Life play style and coz his Father. Now I have ranged or melee pyro dps to use in various situations.

The answer is yes, yes you should. Arlecchino does everything better than Lyney. His only advantage is the fact that he’s a bow character. However, as a Lyney and Arlecchino haver, I can say with certainty that Lyney is much more fun and exciting to play. I almost always choose Lyney over Arlecchino because of the fun factor.

coping too much? mono pyro is the most stale elem team comp. uses fvckin bennet charge shot playstyle simply looks stupid. imagine a character charging a bow in the face of an enemy, that looks almost as stupid as putting doctors in the frontlines to treat footsoldiers. I ended up playing more childe ranged because lyney’s playstyle made me rethink my prejudice against using chargeshots. As a both pyro Fontaine DPS haver I can say that it really depends on the matchup. If it feels good to careen into a small group with his catmobile to open it up, it's like yes we're cooking. If the enemy can be taunted and manipulated to group up, it's fun. But when you get resistance to his tricks then I just want to smack them around with Father, you know?

I‘ll try to explain it more generalized. Character strength: they have the POTENTIAL to hit big numbers Pull value depends on factors like: - investment: do they need a 5* weapon/their signature or do they habe 4*/f2p options + do they want some constellations to really be worth it, do they need other 5* characters or 4* with C6 to shine - playstyle: is the character easy to play, how is the interruption resistance, is their DMG consistent - flexibility: how many good teams do they have, are they restricted to single target or just good against a specific (type of) enemy Just to name a few points.

So some players pull for a specific character they love, maybe regarding lore/story, design, playstyle, personal damage potential… that is very subjective. Some players pull for value/meta alone. It always depends on how YOU enjoy playing the game.

A character can be strong, but have low pull value because there are many alternatives. E.g. Lyney, there are many other good pyro damage dealers that can deal with a pyro check. A character can have high pull value, but low strength (jack of all trades). E.g. C0 Raiden won't steamroll like the top DPS, but opens up many pathways for solid team options.

pull value means they are more useful in more situations for more things. Strength is strength, but can be restrictive. Basically characters who want everyone else all your other characters may want, or characters who everyone else wants like furina or xilonen. Another way to look at it is "Greedy" or "Giving", but people get stumped by that idea sometimes.

Its more of a core. Xilonen and Chiori C1(C0 is "fine") can pretty much carry every 2 Pyro/Hydro/Cryo/Electro units to meta status. Its what zajef tries to do with hyperbloom where he just puts anyone with nahida, xingqiu and kuki except it actually keeps the teams identity intact.

Hu tao and gaming are also both better pyro dps. They both perform very similar speed run numbers. Gaming dominates at one cost or 0 cost vs lyney. And even in far higher investment gaming clears are often not very far behind and they both have very similar spa in their best teams without constellations.Hu tao is the same with a lot of varied team options. They all suffer from a bit of inconsistency and difficulty to play but Lyney is by far the hardest to play in his max dps teams due to having to play circle impact with no shielder and no interruption.

I think your Arlecchino came with a free c1 and free r1 huh? i would like you to take a look at realistic c0r0 performance of both units. Arle is still better as a unit because she is easy to use but the difference is not really noticable, just a matter of playstyle and dmg profiles.

Mosy lyney main know he is weaker than Arle though like Zajef say he has some specific scenario where he might be better and at c0 they r pretty close dmg wise (though i still think arle is somewhat stronger still) The one who Lyney is obviously stronger than is Hutao at least if you can play him well enough.

Not really worth using Furi with Mua unless Furi has high vertical investment but other characters don't. Mua Furi teams are very inconsistent and outside of sheet fantasy of Furi Xiangling Xilonen not losing vapes are not better than other options anyway

Get arle c1 if you don't care about Lyney, its just too good. His bow is a very good general stat stick so you will find use for it now or then, no need to pull lyney for it.

My biggest issue with lyney is that not only he's difficult to play, even if I learn to play him optimally he still isn't beating my Arlecchino, Mualani on the other hand is also difficult to play but when I learned how to play her optimally she actually beats my Arlecchino, so Mualani rewards you for playing good, Lyney does not so he's just a pull if you like him type of character.

at c0r0\c0r1 same dps or bit higher but more frontload damage, but *harder* to play (not die) if you have xilonen(or xianyun) furina yelan for hutao it's like 85-95k dps with kqms lyney could reach that with c6 chevy or furina xilonen (or even higher like 100k+) but it's hard not to die and do proper rotations, with other teams he is just same dps or bit weaker but with more frontload

Arle feels less rough since she feels more comfortable. Thought that kinda depends on your dodging which is easier than relying on CA if the frontload doesn't kill fast enough.
