Considering you don't like "Ghost Beach", you might have some issues with "The Curse Of Camp Cold Lake", since the main antagonist is a ghost that constantly follows the main character around, wanting to be her "buddy". She also wants the main character dead, but then that's expected. I'm actually writing a fic now about the ghost returning the next summer, and taking a new approach to finding a buddy. She befriends a shy girl who's not very good at making friends and decides to gain her trust. Sadly, her bunkies have heard enough stories to let her know the truth, so the only way the ghost can get her buddy is to have the girl consciously choose to die, especially as last time she killed a camper, the girl refused to be her buddy. Yeah, I like the book. But I also liked "Ghost Beach" because I felt sorry for the Sadler ghost kids. It wasn't their fault they couldn't survive that winter.

Stay Out of the Basement did have a twist at the end that I didn't see coming. As the girl is tying her shoes, one of the flowers in the front yard whispers to her "Help me! I'm your father!". Scared the fuck out of me as a child. It seems like the book has a happy ending, but this turn of events makes you think maybe the guy she saved isn't her real father after all... The TV episode kicks this up a notch by making all the other flowers go "No, I'm your father!". Say Cheese and Die is my favorite Goosebumps, but the TV episode didn't do it justice. Greg only took a couple pictures in the TV episode and Spidey doesn't even die at the end. It was Ryan Gosling who starred in that btw, not Ryan Reynolds.

I've never read the books before. The only exposure to the franchise I ever got was the TV show. I have been thinking about perhaps reading the books, partially because I never got to as a kid, and partially because I think it might be 'lite' enough where I could stand it (I normally can't stand horror fiction). But should I do that as an adult? The promos from the movie make it look more like an adventure-comedy than a horror movie to me. I'm afraid that now I wouldn't see the books as scary at all. It would be sad if that was true, then it would mean I missed on them, even though I felt no inclination to when I was a kid (the show gave me nightmares).

Great collection, I’m almost done with completing mine. I have a question that I can’t find a answer to and maybe you could help. Why is it 1-19 has the bind side as goosebumps spelled in regular text and from moving forward it has goosebumps in the text style of that as the title? I noticed it on mine collection and had seen it on yours as well. Thanks for the video

You said "The scarecrow walks at midnight" was a filler but I think "Attack of the mutant" is more of a filler, all though I did want a real "Attack of the mutant" comic book. Or a Sci-fi novel most likely.

Do you still read Goosebump books? Are the newer ones any good? I know there are tons of different versions of them out. Though I've never checked any out as I just don't like the cover art of the newer Goosebump books. While I love the artwork done in the original series.
