Or imagine this… in the alternate universe of the third game, you would be helping Sada and Turo, by finding the Herba Mystica to heal their Dead Son Arven’s Mabostiff. They got divorced soon after he died in area zero, and haven’t talked for years- until they learn that Mabostiff is sick. Mabostiff is the only thing they have left of their son… So they enlist the player character to help find the herbas. Then when you finally reach the end of the game- you face an A.I. Arven, who tells them that he forgives them, and is thankful that they helped Mabostiff. You then have to defeat the A.I. Arven to stop the time machine that the professors built. Scarlet’s ending made me shed a few tears, this ending would actually have me balling.

Professor Turo and Sada names are references to their dreams In Spanish future is "Futuro" In Spanish Past is "Pasada" Taking the Fu-Turo And Pa-Sada words to create their names :)

tiny correction, past is pasado. Spanish words are gendered (pasado would be masculine, lluvia is feminine, etc), so they (probably) changed it to sada to match the character's gender. Great catch though! I'm from a spanish speaking country and had not noticed.

I equate this theme to Colress's theme which, for the longest time, has been my favorite battle theme ever since I got into Pokemon Music. I never thought I'd see that day when that theme would be overtaken. Then a Gigachad AI professor dropped a Master Ball from his perch, and Colress took the backseat.

I've heard many takes on this song, and people proved it's hard to screw up, surprisingly enough. This one, however, in my humble opinion, is in the top shelf category! It stands for the same values the original stood for, but mixed them with some extra spice to still make it stand out. It really stands out among the majority of covers I've heard, and while it still has solid contenders, it's hard to deny that your work is still really, really great!

Plus, since he is incredibly popular as an artist, it's not hard to find inexperienced or lazy people trying to just fetch some views, regardless of how good it actually came out. Not gonna lie, I do also partially say that because that's what I tried too in the early months of my cover portfolio.l

I always loved the original part at 3:19, but this took it even further with my love for rhythm and texture. Somehow it managed to sound like a mix of past and future, the drums giving a primal feel while having the effects make it feel more futuristic. Absolutely love it.

I think that’s one way the writing in this game could’ve been improved, by weaving the paths together in some ways. SV plot definitely are far from perfect, but it was still one hell of a ride and a great addition to the series.

so far one of the versions I love the most, I imagine it would play if: (in a dlc) the professor actually not died and instead went to the future/past of their dreams, and via it re-started the time machine from the alternative time, sending even more past/future paradox pokemons to paldea (and other places?), and this time you would have to enter yourself in the machine to find them, and battle them to put a stop on their craziness

Pokemon really seem to love family drama. Well, in this case tragedy is a better term, poor Arven loses both his parents (the professor's partner is always out of the picture) and after thinking that he's not loved for the longest time he discovers the truth and has to face a robotic version of them. At least there are the player, Penny and Nemona with him.

Instrumentation really makes the difference, this feels way better and more Pokémon-ish than the original Toby in SV really did the attempt of using better quality instrumentation (Plugins and probably more professional libraries) and dropping from only soundfonts for a little, but even so he used his really questionable instrumentation at least here (Like, default FL Studio samples??? Just why?) This feels like an approach or what-if Minako Adachi or Go Ichinose arranged the song, and i love that aspect
