The original ride HURT SOMEBODY when a piece of metal broke off of the train and hit a guest waiting in line in her head causing SERIOUS INJURIES and yet cedar fair wants to keep it? Meanwhile another ride in a different cedar fair park was destroyed because cedar fair was unwilling to wait for a replacement part to be produced and delivered to the park.

It is getting redesigned to lessen injury risk. Also, I highly doubt Volcano was destroyed by using an unauthorized part. But CF/SF should have someone else rebuild Volcano The Blast Coaster exactly as it was again at KD. But with a cooler volcano structure with waterfalls everywhere.

@@telmnstr No. It's because CP and CF have a blatant double standard at work here. BTW with the CF/SF merger there will no longer be ANY reason to waste money on this ridiculous "most coasters in a single park" war since SFMM & CP will essentially be co owned by the same company. Volcano was destroyed because CF simply didn't want to spend the money needed to repair it,had it been at CP they would have pulled out ALL THE STOPS needed to keep it running however. KD has become the redheaded stepchild of the cedar fair chain just like SFA quickly became the redheaded stepchild of the six flags chain shortly after premiere parks purchased six flags in 1998.

This ride is going to suck. Weak launches. No real rollback. Doesn't go up far enough on the spike. Stupid name. This thing is going to suck. A failure in my opinion all ready.

? Wait until you ride it and then determine that. They haven’t released the acceleration rate. What if it does 0 to 76 mph in about 3 to 2 seconds? Then I wouldn’t call that a weak launch. And we could apply the same logic to the other launches. We don’t know anything yet. And we are already making assumptions on whether it will be good or bad. So let’s just wait until the ride comes out and then we will determine. If you want a good example of how forceful LSM launches can be, look at red force Ferrari world. That thing does 0 to 112 mph in about five seconds flat. It is easily one of the most intense launches out there. I guarantee you for a ride like top thrill too. They are not going to slouch on the acceleration.

No they aren’t, it’s their only decision because Top Thrill Dragster isn’t reliable anymore. It’s a better decision than taking down the ride completely, plus, only say it’s bad if the ride wasn’t good, don’t quickly assume.
