As a fellow Singaporean, i’m laughing so hard at Zane read the rules🤣 Smoking of ciggs isn’t illegal, but only allowed in smoking zones. Vapes and substance abuse is definitely illegal. Most of us live in flats, so noise after 10 pm is not allowed in the neighbourhood. Mostly to prevent teens and what not getting up to no good under the blocks and disturbing others trying to rest. We still have clubs and bars where you can be noisy at! But those arent usually near where people live, so its fine. Excited to see what Zane shares about Singapore when he’s back!!

I never felt euphoric when taking my Adderall! I have ADHD and the first time I took it I felt the most relaxed I had ever felt in my life!! I was able to physically and mentally relax, so I cried for a bit. ZANE! If you felt overstomulated on Adderall I think you should have let your doctor know and they would have adjusted the dose.

I have ADHD and take Xaggatin, I'm in the UK and it really isn't easy to get ADHD drugs as we have free healthcare so it takes a lot to get diagnosed. Methamphetamine works the opposite for ADHD brains and you do not feel buzzed like a non ADHD brain, if you feel too buzzed then you don't have ADHD. That's how you know, my doctor told me I would know within hours and he was right, I did! I felt less speed in my brain and more clarity. I definitely can focus a bit more but also not doing 200 jobs in one day and being super productive. I'm Bipolar too and take lithium so I know how I feel when I'm manic. I also never came up on any upper drugs in my life. My friends would come up on ecstasy and I would feel the same. My Psychotherapist told me that's because of the ADHD. Mental health miseducation is scary, I worry for people's brains when being on the wrong meds that cause further poor mental health. Research and always talk to a trusted, knowledgeable health professional. Also, weed is the most used drug by people with ADHD and I personally have self medicated myself with it for years because it does the same as my ADHD meds, chill me out!

Zane, I have genetically bad teeth and am cavity prone, this is what I did for my teeth and I have no new cavities, infections or anything. Oil pulling, 15 min every day. I use coconut oil, spit it in the trash so it doesn’t clog your drain and then brush your teeth after. Salt water gargle, just make it a habit to do every night before bed after brushing AND the only tooth paste I use is colgate Prevident. I’ve had ppl comment on how my teeth look white and I haven’t whiten my teeth using toothpaste, strips or professional in years.Please take care of your oral health, it impacts the rest of your body

To the adderall thing: My foster child has very sever ADHD, one of the more sever cases his Psych has seen. His meds do the opposite of what it does to us. He becomes very chill and relaxed. He can focus so much better and is more organized overall. When he doesn’t take his meds, he is working at Lightning speed, he is just all over the place with INTENSE energy. He could easily talk for hours straight if you let him. If you are prescribed ADHD meds and it makes you more hyperactive in any form, it’s not doing what it’s clinically intended to do.

I'm 31 years old and I got dentures 2 years ago and it was honest to God the best thing I ever did!!! I spent like a decade of my life in constant toothache pain. And then the last year before I got the dentures I was to the point I couldn't even chew ANYTHING! I literally lived on chicken noodle soup and butter noodles. I was so skinny. Ive gained about a 100 pounds now after having dentures and being able to eat plus I ended up pregnant and just had a baby 5 weeks ago. So between the 2 yea I've gained a lot of weight but Im so so much healthier now!

I was like " overpriced!". in my head, I wondered if they knew that's how we get paid lol. The money the patient brings, whether cash, ins, or medical. The owners use that to pay us lol. But I understand it's a lot of money. That's why you take care of your teeth if you think it's overpriced. The reason you floss is so you do not get (plaque) cavities or root canals. It's very hard to get between our teeth ik. Bur I love when you talk about health topics.

People who have ADD- need adderall to calm down and able to focus. Caffeine is a stimulant, just like adderall: so if caffeine is good, so is adderall. If you don’t have add/adhd you don’t get euphoria, you don’t act like you’re on meth. I’m prescribed it through the day; and to sleep. That’s the way it works for me because my brain doesn’t shut off or stop.

I’m a dentist and I think you guys would appreciate our perspective on things , I highly recommend Dr. Daniel Rubinshtein he is a dentist KZbinr who has worked with dr.mike ,anyways about Zane’s infected tooth , I’d like you to think of teeth as a tree with branches ,a tree could have 1,2,3 or even 4 branches , when doing a root canal on a molar tooth there is commonly 3 roots to fill but many times there are also that extra one that is just impossible to see with the X-ray , now the only reason your new doctor was able to find it because he had suspicions from the infection , and he ordered the only thing that allows him to see if there is any extra or missed canals a CBCT (as Zane said cat scan). I’m 99% certain that if your new doctor did that same root canal with only an X-ray 5 years ago he would’ve done the exact same work , this wasn’t in any way negligence from the old doctor, in fact having a root canal with a missed canal last 5 years is great in my opinion after all that tooth is already on borrowed time, now you may ask “why didn’t the old doctor order a cbct to begin with ,CBCT’s are expensive and are not needed in most cases anyway ,we are taught not to put the patient through unwarranted X-ray radiation for no reason , I imagine Zane was billed a good amount for that cbct or maybe his insurance took care of it , either way if we start taking these X-rays before each treatments other people will start to say we are ”shill bidding” to increase the amount they pay by ordering useless X-rays , you can’t win as a dentist everyone hates us

Can I ask a question about teeth looseness?? My bite and posture have effected my tongue and cause a tongue thrust, when I asked my dentist what to do about it because it was causing loose teeth she said that was "normal". Can I ask, is it normal? My lower teeth move and click when my jaw moves and they are always in pain. They recommended invisalign over braces which felt.....wrong. looking for input from someone who is not trying to get my business!

Also I feel like invisalign was the wrong recommendation because I have a crossbite, tmj, and looseness in the teeth with pain and from what I understand invisalign is much more likely to cause more damage than braces. @@junkmoon- sorry for answering a bit late ,so first of all i cant really make a judgement call on your case without actually seeing your teeth but ill help out with any information i can, from the start this is a question for a specialized orthodontist not a general practitioner dentist ,but from my limited studies in orthodontics i can say if you have tongue thrust that is what needs to be treated first before the actual teeth because it can interfere with the treatment not let it work, second is the difference between braces and invisalign ,they have the same function with the difference being the look and severity of your crossbite ,if your crossbite is severe then braces might be the best option, if its a slight crossbite then invisalign is the better option ,we also recommend invisalign for adults since adults prefer to have better looks. now as for loose teeth (slight tooth movement is normal) but if its more then , that could have many factors attributing to it as i said i cant really say for sure without actually examining your teeth ,but it is possible that the crossbite and the force from the tongue thrust against your teeth is causing stress to the periodontal attachment that stabilizes the teeth , which again means you need to fix your tongue thrust which will relieve the pressure that your tongue puts on the teeth, as for the clicking and tmj problems that is a normal reaction of the jaw with people who have crossbite ,its like when you open and close your jaw one side opens and closes differently than the other which is caused because your teeth are misaligned ,the clicking is the jaw socket popping into place , this could be self corrected after completing you braces/invisalign treatment...and even if it isnt corrected its okay and normal some people are born with clicking. so here is the full plan. 1-fix the tongue thrust to allow us to use braces/invisalign without interferance 2-fix braces/invisalign to correct the crossbite (again they have the same function it just depends how severe and your preferance on looks) 3-the looseness and TMJ and clicking should be self corrected because of the previous steps, if not then its okay the wont cause serious problems, they can stay as is ,its normal now in the end my advice would be consult an orthodontist they are the most experienced when it comes to your condition and trust their opinion ,even if its different than mine and if they say anything i said is wrong ,and dont be afraid of getting second opinions from other orthodontist ,most of the time a checkup and consult are free .i understand that it might feel like dentists just want the money and the most expensive treatment but thats just not how we are even trained when we see a problem with a tooth we immediatly think about the best treatment for your health not the most expensive one, thinking like that is just second nature to us after all our training. goodluck with your treatment and i wish you the best

If you ever poop out a string, or something of the likes, and it doesn't fully... exit. DO NOT PULL!!! My uncle has adhd and sometimes if im tired at work i would ask him for an addy as he calls it. I swear i get lazer focused and more social and energized. I wish i was prescribed to that instead of prozac

The reason it hurts when you “hit the gums” is because they’re so sensitive because you don’t floss enough. You’re supposed to go down into between the tooth and the gums a little bit to the point where you could be rough with it and it won’t hurt at all… lol it’s not supposed to😅
