Without touch ups on my skin, it depends on the day. On a more humid day I'd powder after about three hours to keep my very oily skin hidden. Normal day I could get away with blotting and would get a good 8 hours out of the foundation without touch ups.

At the time the lightest shade wasn't available to me, but yes it was too dark as I am suuuuuuuper pale! :D There is a shade lighter in number 79 but I have started to wear fake tan so neither colours would match!
