An exponent to and exponent is the same as multiplication so first multiply each exponent by -8 to get (x^56/16 y^-8/2)/x^24/16. Dividing exponents is the same as subtraction so do 56/16 - 24/16 to get x^32/16 y^-8/2. You can then simply the fractions to get x^2 y^-4. If you want to get rid of a negative exponent you can move it to the other side of the fraction, since y is in the numerator, move it to the denominator to get x^2 /y^ 4.

the answer is x^2/y^4. First you switch the x^-3/16 back up (because negative powers switch which side of the fraction line they are on) and the x^-7/16 would go down. Some of the x's cancel, because when you divide exponents by each other, you just subtract the powers: 3/16 - 7/16 = -4/16. Since the power over the x is now negative it goes back to the denominator; however, with the -8 power waiting outside, you multiply the powers making it x^-2. Since it is a negative again, you need to switch it back up. The x's are finally done leaving x^2 on top. Now the y's are a lot easier. Y^1/2 times -8 makes it y^-4. Once again, since the exponent is negative, it goes to the bottom (the denominator). So you are left with x^2/y^4. Love your vids Zanny. Hope Solar got some help earlier (I am late to this video).

As a fellow Sekiro lover, I'm happy to see you enjoy this game as much as I did. Such a satisfying combat system that actually holds a candle to Sekiro. You can in fact deflect any attack that isn't a critical attack with the green flash, or the ultimates with the red flash used by the bosses. So yes, you can deflect even The Hanged Queen. My only problem is I want there to be more. Speaking of which, if you do the side quests, each zone has another unique boss fight.

The answer to your friend's maths problem is x^2 / y^4. First, you simplify the two x terms. Something in the form x^n / x^m = x^(n-m), so the x terms become x^-1/4. Then I applied the negative of the outside power, making the expression 1 / (x^-1/4 * y^1/2). Then, you apply the outside power by multiplying the x and y's powers, as (x^n)^m = x^(nm). This gives us 1 / (x^-2 * y^4). The last step is to move the x term to the top of the fraction. You can do this because the power is negative. Thus, the most simplified form is x^2/y^4. (I haven't done maths for a while so if I'm wrong please correct me)

Hope it's helpful :) All you need to solve the problem is basic exponent rules. We have (x^(-7/16)*y^(1/2))/x^(-3/16)^-8. Since the fraction part has the like term x in both the numerator and the denominator, we can simplify the x terms. When dividing like terms with different exponents we follow this rule: x^a / x^b = x^(a-b). Here we have x^(-7/16) / x^(-3/16). The two exponents have the same denominator, which makes life easier. As per the rule, the simplified version would be x^((-7-(-3))/16) = x^(-4/16). That gets rid of the denominator! We are left with (x^(-4/16) * y^(1/2))^-8. The rule that applies here is: (x^a * y^b)^c = x^ac * y^bc. So, we have x^((-4/16)*-8) * y^((1/2)*-8) = x^(-4*-8)/16 * y^(1*-8)/2 = x^(32/16)*y^(-8/2). We can simplify the x term to x^2 and the y term to y^-4. Since the problem demands the most simplified version, standard practice is to rid the final ver of negative exponents if possible. Here, it's easy, as y^-4 = 1/y^4. So we have: x^2 * 1/y^4 = x^2 / y^4. Almost done! Depending on what exactly is required, you could either leave it at that or take power 2 out of the fraction since (x/y)^a = x^a / y^a. Hmmm. Long way to do it involves dividing the inside statement by itself 8 times, then adding and canceling out the divisiors as much as possible. I don't know if that actually makes it simpler, but it's a way to manipulate the equation. You might also be able to cancel out the Xs and get ×^-4/16. Alternatively, you can bring the lower X above the line, turning it to ×X^3/16, and work from there. I'll get back to you in a while if i can get some writing going on. Might consult with my mom, as she's qualified as a maths teacher and thus might be able to remember the algebra better.

That math problem is actually pretty easy. The -8 means it is 1/expression. So when looking at the expression, since it is all multiplication and division you can multiply the exponents of each variable by 8. This will give (x^(-7/2)y^4)/x^(-3/2). Since the exponents for the x in the numerator and denominator of the expression are equal in the denominator of their exponents, they can simplified into one single x. Since it is division, the exponents will be subtracted from each other which will look like x^((-7/2) - (-3/2)) = x^((-7/2) + (3/2)) = x^(-4/2) = x^(-2) = 1/x^2. The answer is x^2/y^4 KZbin won't let me post the desmos, but basically when you have an equation like (a^b)^c, you can simplify the equation by multiplying thre outside exponent/power by the inside exponent so (a^b)^c=(a^bc) This leaves you with [(x^56/16*y^-8/2)/(x^24/16)] which gets you to the next step. Due to the nature of exponents(they are multiple multiplications), doing (a^4)/(a^2) just means you have to subtract the exponents of the bottom/denominator from the top/numerator. There is one x at the top and one x at the bottom so you subtract the bottom x exponent from the top one. This leaves you with (x^32/16*y-8/2) which can be simplified to (x^2*y^-4), but since negative exponents basically are the inverse(opposite, for example, the opposite of 2 or double is 1/2 and the opposite of 3 or triple is 1/3) of an exponent, y^-4 really means 1/y^4 so y falls to the bottom/becomes a denominator because multiplying by a fraction is division(1*1/2=-1/2, 2*1/2=2/2=1 and 3*1/2=3/2 So the answer is (x^2/y^4
