In Argentina, Zara is one of the stores you go to for good quality and to find formal or work clothes. I am surprised that in other countries it is not appreciated as a "quality" store 😱

Same here in Czech Republic. Zara is the type of store you avoid because it is quite pricey and too formal for everyday wear, not because it is bad quality!

Am i the only American who's surprised how good all of this looks? Most of the time when I go to the mall, I avoid Zara cause the experience is similar to being in a forever 21: all the clothes are in piles/sizing is weird/ and its overpriced for poor quality. Maybe Alex just looks good in everything. :3

I'd say I usually have good luck with Zara. The sizing can be a bit iffy, but I think it kind of depends on your body type? And the quality is usually excellent. I have some pretty old pieces from them that are still holding up nicely.

I feel the same way! The Zara in the mall never has clothes this nice… I wonder if there is a Zara in Aus that is different than the US one…

Oh this is so interesting, i'm from Spain the same country of the owner of Zara: Amancio Ortega and here on Spain we have this community thinking that zara is high quality and their prices are un the midle or just high. A coat can easily cost 100 euros or so. Also all the zara stores here are beautiful organize. So os very interesting hearing what people from the USA think about 🤗💕

I am in the UK and Zara is the same, £100 for a polyester shirt that will fit one type of person and only if they go on a diet. I feel like the brand was built around the 2000's "heroine chic" style woman and hasn't changed. The only clothes I have seen that are nice will often be damaged on the hanger! The store staff never seem to care.

There's never been a Zara close enough to me to see what it's like. All I know is that like Forever21 they steal runway fashion.

Coming from a Zara employee, a lot of Zara stuff ends up being sold second hand because the return policy is very strict and that leaves a lot of people with no option but to sell it haha

What do u mean strict? You buy you try you don’t wear and you can give back.. that’s the rule or you think it should be : you buy, you wear few times, you get bored and you give back and want 100%money? I don’t understand what is strick in Zara return policy??

(in the US) its not strict here, but the whole online/in person returns gets really confusing sometimes or people try to return with no proof of purchase. people usually just get mad if theyre returning something past 30 days.

I hope this isn’t taken out of context but I think the pastels can sometimes look a bit juvenile and I feel like when she wears darker colors she looks mysterious, sultry and feminine? I hope I explained that right but it’s a good look for her and I hope she dives more into the darker color territory here and there! ☺️

I also find so many Zara pieces in Op Shops, in particular graphic tees! They're always so bizarre and hilarious, I just got one for $3 with a cat curling it's fur with cans! What does it mean? No idea! But do I love it? Absolutely!!!

It's so interesting how our perception of brands changes depending on our country. I'm Spanish, and here zara is a middle priced store (as in, more expensive than ie. primark, lefties etc. but less expensive than luxury brands) and overall consider them to have "good pieces of clothing"

I think I've only ever bought one thing directly from zara because I know it's expensive. But I've found loads of zara jeans in charity shops and I love them. My local British Red Cross gets old or damaged stock donated from zara too so its nice getting to pick from that because they do make some nice things!

Loving Thriftmas! Just looking at that long vest, I thought it would never work, but it did and looked great. I absolutely love black dresses. Due to my having no personal sense of style and limited finances I have always used black tops/skirts and dresses as a "frame" with accessories making the statement. Some of my most unique statement pieces (jewelry) have come from a U.S. retail/pharmacy store called CVS. Archie appears to be having a good day. He is a worthy bird and worth the wait until he grows up. All will be well in the meantime, as long as the humans get to keep all their fingers and toes. 😉
