I listened to PTX a long time ago. IMO they became too 'commercialized'. Their music doesn't have the same spirit or evoke your feelings for the song the way they used to. Home Free are really good. I still listen to them. VoicePlay have solely taken over the top spot though. The 'theater guys of a capella' are beyond amazing. They are masters at vocals, arrangements, & production effects.

​@@Shebeawolf2 Agreed with Pentatonix. I wasn’t really into them to begin with but they had some good songs earlier on in their career. Then Avi left and now they are just generic to me. As you said, very commercial. No feeling. Voiceplay here on the other hand is so much better because they haven’t lost touch. They stay true to themselves with their unique arrangements as well as their cool looks they tend to do in their videos. And they get better and better with each video they do.

I'm trying to figure out how they did it, and I'm thinking they used something like a bullet time rig and green screen to get such seamless transitions. Only saw a little bit of background distortion. I only watched a short bit of it so far, so I could certainly be mistaken.

Nice Louis Armstrong shout out, J None. This is one of my favorite Christmas songs since minor textures are rarely heard in the “tired well known favorites” every pop artist covers around this time. Everyone got a chance to shine as the singer, and the harmonies are tight as usual. And even better for releasing the video on St Nicholas Day, just after Krampus Night the night before.
