What is eating in moderation exactly? I may eat a chocolate and still along with it reach my 1500 calories target..is it okay?

Yep that's pretty much it :D But truly it means 80/20 - prioritizing whole foods and nutrient dense sources, and small portions of treats (choc/icecream/etc)

If you're a non vegetarian I just like lemon water early in the morning. Eggs and vegetables for breakfast. Best is boiled eggs. I occasionally add brown bread with butter. Lunch is salad, rice and daal. (I have noted that kheera is the best salad option.) Dinner is roti and sabzi/dal with kheera Tomato salad. My snack is always fruits. Pls eat one banana a day for potassium. Potassium is good for weight loss. Helps reduce cellulite. Pls note. I do zumba in the morning for half an hour, and breakfast after that. I eat homemade Chinese also. I switched from maida noodles to rice noodles. Just add extra vegetables. Broccoli, carrots, beans and capsicum. I also ate makhana and dates kheer this week for dessert. The sweetness is less but it satisfies the cravings. Recipes online will ask you to add sugar. But pls don't do that.

12:00 dude I agree you DON'T need those exercises for fat loss (especially belly fat) but those exercises are not stupid. They also done for a purpose especially in sports. So please just don't call them stupid, rather just tell them they are for those who want super strong abdomen but not necessary for getting abs or low bf %.

@@mukesh-ge4gx I hope this was adding on to the joke eventhough i dont get it. But if not then Contrary to popular belief some people actually like sugar. I appreciate the sentiment but not the unsolicited advice. I dont like jaggery and threaded mishri is basically unrefined sugar. I am not on a weight loss journey and junk food really doesnt ever effect me in ANY way. Ps:- its damn fun to eat spoonfuls of sugar right out of the box. If your health permits it you should try it sometime😋

Just some polite unsolicited advice, everyone has different food and life philosophies so its not okay to presume and give advice. But its great that you respect other’s choices, thats tough to find these days even though its bare minimum.😊

Eating late at night is the worst thing you can do, since your body has a reduced digestive power post sunset. You are kin dof shutting yourself down for the day, and even when you are not eating much in the morning you are still introducing the risk of indigestion at night.

My average calorie intake is around 1300-1400 calories a day and I have a moderately active lifestyle. (Work out 3 times a week). Even then, I am not losing any weight. I am getting fitter but the progress is very slow. Going by your logic, I am in calorie deficit almost everyday

Sorry man, I disagree with what you said about ab exercises. They DO work. Yes, strengh training does strengthen your core, but ab exercises target that muscle group directly. You can't just call them "gande exercises".

I'm a bong not sure what to say about rice here 😅since childhood breakfast lunch and dinner it's all the same -rice 😅 I used to feel we get to eat roti only on occasions 😅and used to hate fish and rice and now I understand how it's so important

Just chewing food properly makes us loose weight. People please dount count calories. Our body doesnt understand calories. Even Rujuta Diwekar said not to count calories . Just chewing every morsel of food until it becomes a paste helps in loosing all the weight. For more clarity check Sandeep Maheshwari and R. Madhavan' advice on chewing food.

Hi. Your quote is amazing. I am on diet. I am fearful once I have achieved my target ,weight should not bounce back. 1 or 2 kg is ok but pls suggest how to maintain? I have lost 20 kg in parts as due to unavoidable circumstances the diet was held up two times. Now 7 to 8 more to go..

Rujuta Diwekar says never ever count your protein,vitamins, calcium etc etc intake...just eat ghar ka khana and seasonal fruits and vegetables.. I followed her and actually became more fit .. 😇

I eat rice everyday. I don't workout a lot, I'm at my maintenance weight and some days I indulge more than other days and not even workout but that doesn't make me gain at all. I can't imagine not having rice for at least one meal of the day. Again, you're right. We shouldn't overcomplicate nutrition.

Sorry I disagree. You said if you are consuming 2500 calories and burning only 2000 calories then remaining 500 calories will turn into fat. No. A high misconception in this regard. Our bodily functions, keeping the digestive system running, heart beating and entirely to keep our whole body system working, the body use the calories we take through food. So majority of the calories are used in maintaining and regulating our system working (even when we just sit idle our body needs to do these involuntary work and keep working its internal regulatory systems and hence expends calories).

It depends on the % of fat and muscle a individual has....... The great khali takes about 10,000 kcal a day but his workout, height, muscles etc are the factors why he doesn't gain weight and so goes to John Cena........

Yes even I am looking for some core strengthening exercises. It would definitely help alot. I don't stress much over eating but I make sure to exercise and burn those calories. Please tell us some good exercises. Period. Haha :))

You do dead lift is okay but again if you wanna do crunches with some weights its completely fine. There is no sense saying 'gande abs workout'. I am 23 now! I am from Arunachal Pradesh! I have eaten rice all my life till now! Never got overweight! I am 5.3 and my weight is 50kgs! We the people here in Arunachal Pradesh eat rice on a regular basis but have never heard of someone saying that they have gained weight because of eating rice! It's just about the amount u eat and yes giving ur body good 30 minutes to 45 minutes of exercise is a cherry on top!

Definitely yes!!having only ghar ka khana is the bestessttt change you can make into your lifestyle if you wanna stay healthy...and if you are pretty much used to eat junk outside..that that will definitely help you lose weight..even if not,then that can be the first most tip for you to lose weight..as ghar ka khana will always be the most healthiest thing on earth and also nutritious..provided..you cook it properly

It the hormones not the calories bro and it has been proved many times now that if you have hormonal imbalance you won't be an able to lose weight even if you eat fewer calories
