As someone who's a bit out of the loop of smartwatches after all this time, do you have any suggestions for watches in terms of battery life? I think my last watch was the Thor 5 Pro I found on your channel

Mine is on it's way, if im lucky i should get it next week. I've had couple of android watches before and i know how to use them and tweak them. That's why im excited. I will definitely use watchmaker on this one.

PLEASE let us know if you get watchmaker for facer or any other clockskin design process to work on this one. Seems proprietary to me, yet the engine is pretty darn clean for making fine detail faces with, animation, active touch areas, etc. Gotta be a way! The gang over at www.fullandroidwatch.org are deep into this stuff, too.

@@SWT it should work I use only watchmaker. The watch is not listed but you can choose other android watch. Should work just fine.

I have saved 500+ watch faces all kind of brands from professional people and they are 100% correct Tag Heuer, Rolex, Patek Philippe just to name a few. They are incredibly made with precision.

Ok so now i got the watch as off now. I can't get the development option tried everything and sad to say it watchmaker is starting with 70% of the the screen from watchmaker but that's it. You cant do anything with it. It's a disappointment 😞 I was so excited for this. I can say it's a ok watch but nothing more. Zeblaze need to do some serious tweaking or updates. But I doubt they will do anything.

Great review as always... Zeblaze can produce watches with loads of various watchfaces, but the actual smartwatch/fitness watch/band functions aren't so premium, but it's usually reflected in the low costs on the Zeblaze watches.

Yes, the only way to save is via google fit app. It would be fantastic if there a way to connect with the cell phone for receive notifications. Do yo know how to recover the main watchface? I dont have anymore, i guess that i deleted.

I would definitely love a more sports looking version of this android based watch. Basically a mini phone, though I wouldn't get a 2nd sim card for it, that's for sure.

Not really I mean technically I think it connects and there's an app which keeps track of some fitness data but there's no calling Bluetooth calling. You used to be able to do it but somewhere along the way Google broke Bluetooth calling on these kind of devices.

I just purchased Zeblaze Thor Ultra smartwatch but have not received it yet. Mr. Tick, said this watch does not pair to any apps on the PlayStore. How do you maintain your health data, stored on the watch, for several weeks and months?

As for Developer mode, I can't find a way to access it. There's no listing of Android version to tap on, and tapping on Build Number doesn't do it. I installed the Settings Search app, and can't get past the Developer link as it reports I must activate it first. Anybody been able to enter Developer mode on the THOR ULTRA? As for the Floatify app, I don't know that one, so I haven't tried it.

Hello, my ZEBLAZE THOR ULTRA watch and my Samsung A52 phone are well connected via Bluetooth and are therefore recognized. but I can't receive notifications on my watch, calls or emails I saw somewhere that it's possible. If so, could you give me directions? THANKS

Sorry, I don't know, but I doubt it. It seems to have trouble updating Google Play Services as well.

Connect it with WiFi at home or office, or put your phone in WiFi hotspot when out an about and connect your watch to your phone. It's actually a better way than putting a SIM in your watch because your phone cellular connection will always be stronger than your watch.

Please tell me how! I've tried all kinds of tricks and still no luck. I installed Google Drive and move files from the computer to the drive and then download them to the watch from the drive app on the watch. Works in a pinch.

This is a nice watch! unfortunately I haven't found a carrier in the US (Nashville) that has found the phone's IMEI number! compatible with their systems. AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon. I think I tried them all. So the phone feature of the watch is useless. If anybody knows of a carrier in The US that will connect the phone please post. I bought 2 Ultra's thing thinking possible defect. Maybe my watch will work in Bangladesh!

@@SWT Thanks! But the problem is when the carrier ask for the IMEI number, Im told the the watch is not compatible to their systems. I get the same story from all carriers. Don't think it's a regional problem it's nationwide. Hopefully Zeblaze can get this issue resolved. Other than that It's a fine watch!

There are some recent Android 8.1 ones out there in quazi-square (if you consider the Apple designs square) that function somewhat similar to this one. I'm putting together an Android 8.1 Playlist to round them up and make them easy to find.

​@@75dt21I didnt say it doesnt have an imei number. it has fake stolen imei numbers from old obsolete gsm phones sold outside the u.s many years ago thats why it registers u.s sim cards temporarly at least.

There is a workaround by installing an always on screen app, but it will, of course, affect your battery live. A thick ziplok bag might handle the waterproofing. Just kidding.

Everything is very nice, but and a big BUT.... It's by far not bright enough, so great watch that can't be seen in daylight, pretty much makes it useless. A big shame to be honest. It need brighter screen and waterproof.
