Healthstone could probably see play in Insanity Warlock. It's an additional way to mitigate the self-fatigue damage.

Exactly what I thought! Completely ignoring how much dmg you would take for one turn is so good in that deck (we can see that with the 1/3). 2x encroaching insanity into healthstone seems nuts.

Healthstone is so much better than Dark Pact. The healing can be stronger, you don't need a minion on board and its 0 Mana, which means you can play an additional self damaging card on that turn to finish the quest earlier.

I dunno... Both have their pros and cons. Healthstone CAN heal more, but requires more resources to do so. Dark Pact is a simple zap a minion and get the health (It also puts it into your Raise Dead pool). Healthstone also becomes useless after you play the quest reward while Dark Pact can still gain health.

@@tarille1043 Afaik you usually win on the very next turn if you play the quest reward so you don't need to heal much there. It's the same blindspot people had for darkglare when they looked at the demon seed first. It's not as useful in longer matches, but it costs 0 mana and it does make your combo faster. It's also tradeable which could make or break your pop off turn. I wouldn't be surprised if people still played dark pact for the most part, but the future of the demon seed archetype is the combo, just making it more and more disgusting. And when, not if, when the combo becomes disgusting again it will replace dark pact for that. Just my 2 cents.

@heianwood6119 Why does everyone hate guff so much, it's not even close to being a problem. Druid has shown many times over that the problematic combos are not the 20 mana ones.

As someone who runs a pretty greedy ramp deck in Wild with Guff, I can say it's a feels bad card watching your opponent do all kinds of stupid bullshit in one turn. It might not be SUPER oppressive, but it can feel that way.

@@CountFab Prolly cause 20 mana combos are not the only problem. Guff combines both ramp and card draw in the most absurd HERO FUCKING POWER in the game currently. And all of this for just 5 mana. This means, that you play him on 5, quickly ramp to 20, then push your opponent with overvalued legendaries, without worrying of running out of cards in hand.

Healthstone is going to be an auto-include in literally every Warlock deck. It literally gets rid of the main weakness of the entire class, the Self Damage and Fatigue.

Not every Warlock deck. Only Warlock decks that burst out self damage get any meaningful use out of it. Warlock decks that don't burst self damage (Like Sludge Lock) are only going to get what, 2 health back after a life tap? That's not worth running.

@@tarille1043 even then don't a lot of Warlock decks run cards that burn for draw or even run the Demon Seed as an alt win con? I mostly play Discard Warlock and I can alredy see some crazy stuff Healthstone would be usefull for even in that niche scenario

You dmg yourself to low numbers and throw infernal, as you usually do, but now follow up with stone to heal to almost full.

There will come a day when a warlock card comes into existence that will deal damage to your hero until they only have one health for a respective effect, when it does, Healthstone will be one of the strongest cards in that deck. Even before that, this card would be a great spell for the infamous self-damaging warlock questline.

Excuse me, but did Zeddy give a mere 3 to a 0 mana card with tradeable? A card that is capable of killing the opponent by pure demoralization, and make you recover all the resources you wasted in 1 turn for free? Darkglare in Demon Seed Warlock. That combo is f***ing vomitive already. With this, it's outright an STD.

Healthstone is definitely for a demon seed deck in wild. Hit yourself for a lot of damage in a single turn, and then heal it back

Zeddy....health stone is a sleeper. Let's say your fatigue counter is let's say "5" use encroaching insanity so you take what 6 then 7 (13 total). You can weave it in between that and crescendo just in case u can't fire it off without killing yourself in those moments when you dont have pop gar. Another thing....Same scenario...you're at like 20 health...you use insanity for that 13 dmg. You slam "INFERNAL" Then use health stone and heal for 13. 15+13= 28. Warlock will be nearly immortal.

Your deck is a portal so it can't be removed. You just get a random demon every time you draw

Depends on how they implement it. Blizzard is very inconsistent with their mechanics as Hearth Tech shown.

From what I understand, after playing Kil'jaeden your deck is ALWAYS 30 random demons. Doesn't matter if you destroy it, if an opponent destroys it (Like an upcoming card reveal for a certain class), if an opponent shuffles anything into it, you shuffle anything into it... It's just going to be 30 random demons. How it will interact with dredge, Polkelt and other deck ordering stuff is yet to be seen. But in regards to Wheel, Kil'jaeden prevents you from having an empty deck after Wheel.

Healthstone is very good. I usually only had the Infernal 6/6 set health to 15 health as backup when I want to do more self damage stuff but is going too low. Health stone should help to escalate the swarm strategy

I got a survey from blizzard when I logged in yesterday. I agreed to take it as long as I didn't discuss it's contents, so I thought I'd share what I put on it: It asked me what I thought of hearthstone. Basically I stated standard is garbage because it's constantly unbalanced, and it's usually the same classes that are are the overpowered, mana cheating classes. I stated games are too fast and require no skill or strategy. Whoever gets the broken card or combo first, wins. Control is nonexistent.

healthstone is crazy. I mean quest warlock with that. thats a 5 star in my eyes for that deck. I mean you can restor over 10-14 health with that. Also sure you can infinity with that but normaly with warlock you can dmg yourself max 10-14 dmg. More is possible but i talk the normal way

Healthstone could be used as well for Fine Print spell cause the new starship archetype will need some aoe early to build more easely starship like imagine you take a 20 damage , you just healthstone, my starship deck will run like Fine print + table flip i think with like demonic studies and Demonic Dynamics and of course the forboding flame and Kil'jaeden

Idk about fine print+ heartstone combo. Domino effect exist and is cheap and nice to remove early and midgame aggression, you also have the 3 mana deal 5 randomly split for the super early game, possibly the drink could be okish, you could reach for defile too. Warlock is filled with powerful boardwipes, running a two card combo for another slightly better one seems like a stretch

@@ettorevolterrani2989 yea but what you do if all early minions have equal hp's or if there is location in between what domino effect is gonna do to you ? for mortal eradication i agree , but drink for warlock is meh cause it's just 3 health for 3 mana when a drain soul is 2 for 3 health , and + like warlock doent even get access to tar slick like rogue do to lifesteal even more,demonlock are not gonna have early board cause of card that discover demons rather than domino effect is better when you have board cause you can clean minions that didnt get killed by domino effect or if you want to clear a board without killing your own board+ ive tryed to theory craft a demonlock from expension the deck will have very few 4 mana cards from what ive been building fine print gonna be more mana efficient and for heallthstone it would benefits as well from symphony of sins aoe deal 6 to all minions.

A buff for Seed great.... Wild is in need of balance changes... Demon seed: destroying anything thats not a hyper aggro or fast combo deck, a good change would be both players taking dmg instead of opponent only Aviana: simply game over when its played, cheat it out with dorian or ramp early, no counterplay to it Radiant: should had same treatment as Sorcerer apprentice Uther dk hero power should cost 4, winning the game after playing uther is so dumb, obviously they all run another copy of sing along and garrison commander in ETC

I have to say the Nether's Eye signature is definitely from some movie I've seen growing up. Maybe a star trek villain or something from alien. It's on the tip of my tongue.
