I lay down at night listening to this and imagine a simple life where I sit on the windmill in Hateno and stare at the stars until I fall asleep. Going through a rough patch and I have trouble sleeping but this video in the background helps a lot. Thank you.

This game and much of its music will always remind me of my boyfriend, who played BotW avidly in December of 2020 after I moved in with him. We ended up with a lot of free time while I was still job searching and he was on leave, and I watched him play for hours. We'd get up late, have steak and eggs with coffee for breakfast, and eat on the couch while he played. These are very fond memories for me. Fast forward to 2023, we've just gone our separate ways and it's devastating. But I love relaxing video game music to help me sleep at night, and several of my favorites are from BotW. I just saw this one suggested and though it reminds me of him, I also find it calming. It's odd but maybe it's exactly what I need right now while I process this change. It's so interesting how each of us all have wildly different memories and experiences of this game. Not sure why I felt like sharing mine, but there it is.
