I once had to climb a mountain with one of these koroks. Problem was there was a thunderstorm and i only had a knights bow. I didn't see an option to hide the bow so i kept getting zapped and having to restart the climb with the korok. I then got an idea, i dropped the bow and fused it to the korok. Now as i was climbing there was a sparkling korok a safe distance away from me getting blasted. Not my proudest moment but i got to keep my bow and deliver the korok

ok so i’m learning that i find the following sadistic acts funny when done to koroks: Transporting them in such a way they are repeatedly smacked into the ground or rocks when the transportation method has a clearly safer place to seat them A machine that begins by just smacking the korok, then reveals a second function that roasts or soaks then A device that dwarfs Link and his victim, and takes a few seconds to reveal that it’s only function is to smack or punch or slam the korok into the ground mere feet from where it began. Any form of public execution that evokes Roman or Christian images of martyrdom or otherwise cruelly humiliating slow death, but particularly those paired with a horse to parade the Korok around. Something about the implication that it is being made an example of or that Link is assuring all of Hyrule that it has reaped the just rewards for its unthinkable sins. The idea that he is either suppressing opposition to his vile tyranny or fulfilling the outraged citizenry’s need for justice in the face of this little lump’s horrific crimes of wanton depraved, borderline Caligulan sadism just gets me right in the funny bone. And finally, a long line of them being tugged along a bumpy trail, all saying “Oof…”
