ApocalypticDayz once again I disagree. I think breath of the wild combined the Twilight Princess and Wind Walker graphics perfectly.
@Gam3freak11998 жыл бұрын
I don't think it will. It's trying to take the best of both worlds and mesh them together. But the thing is there is a reason why they should remain two separate worlds. I personally feel that they're going to conflict more than some other people think. Just because it looks good in a trailer doesn't mean it looks good in game. Need I remind people of the HUGE failures we've seen from game companies in 2016? There were a lot. Why can't Nintendo take a swing and miss, they haven't missed in a while. Personally I think this will be a miss. If not, I'll eat my words.
@letsplaypep54548 жыл бұрын
ApocalypticDayz You think breath of the wild will be a miss? The game is getting universal praise at the moment from all the demonstrations around the country. the game looks beautiful in game even on the switch tablet. There's even a lot of websites thinking that it will be game of the year. Just because a game doesn't look realistic doesn't mean it's going to fail. actually games that try to look to realistic look terrible years down the line. games with different art styles age much better because there's nothing to compare to them because they are unique.

When i beat this game for the first time and i very worried about Midna. I was relived to find out that she was alive and in her true form. I was pumped. I was very excited to see both worlds, with the help of both princesses, work together and forge peace. When Midna shatter the mirror, i was devastated. I cried. I was very upset. Link worked very hard alongside Midna. He helped her see the good in people and got her to care for more than herself. They grew close as the game progressed. I took for granted that Link in Midna were together for most of the game. With the mirror gone... that was it. They wont see each other again. Link has his friends and family sure. But what about Midna? It felt like Link was her only friend. If that's true, then that means she is alone. The end of this game made me grieve for the friendship that came to an end.

Twilight Princess is still one of my favorite Zelda games. Sure, Breath of the Wild is my favorite Zelda game, but Twilight Princess is still pretty special to me. By the time the HD remaster came out, I hadn't played through Twilight Princess from beginning to end since it originally came out. When I finally got my copy in the mail, I tore the game to shreds. Within a quick 23 hours, I already had 100% completion on my file without looking for a single guide. Even ten years later, I still remembered every little nook and cranny. There were a few times where I actually forgot to pick up the compass in a few dungeons by the time I reached the boss, so I had to run back and pick it up (only to realize that I ended up finding and opening every chest without it, oops lol). It's still as great as I remembered. The jousting sections were still great and the escort mission was still hilariously easy.

Gotta admit, this is the best Zelda boss battle. You fight Zelda, than Ganon, than Ganondorf on horseback, then Ganondorf sword fight. That’s some pretty epic and varied boss battle forms.

I really dig the new stat card that you put up at the end of each episode showing how much you did in each game. But if I can offer one piece of advice, the pictures are pretty small, which I understand because you have a lot to fit on the screen, but maybe instead of putting it all up there at once, how about just making the board scrolling from bottom to top as you talk about it, that way you could let each stat be larger. Just a suggestion.

@@masonmurphy5402 Wow, I triggered a nerve lol we're entitled to our own opinions and that's fine. I was just having some fun with you. And "revolutionary at the time" is certainly a valid argument. When a game's influence is still being directly felt in new games 20+ years later, that's a powerful argument. I'm just going to go out on a limb assume you're too young to truly appreciate what that means. You'll understand that argument better when you're older and looking back at the games you loved from your childhood.

Jason Shaneyfelt There are plenty of better zelda games than oot. For sure its a good zelda game and i like it but there are a handful of zelda gens that are better, more fun and engaging. Dont pull that bullshit on how young i am, I am well capable of my own thoughts and statements and you need to learn that this isnt the best game in the world. Jesus Christ

When I first played Twilight Princess on the Wii, I hated Midna. SO. MUCH. Always with the nagging, the taunting, the trying to make you feel dumb. I just wanted her to go away and leave me the hell alone, maybe even get killed off. Then she got hurt, and I felt horrible for wishing she would. I fought back tears as I ran as fast as I could to the castle and kept telling her to hang in there, it's just a little longer, you can make it, stay strong... That right there is enough to make me think of this game as my favorite in the series. Got me right in the feels, yo.

Honestly my main problem with most Zelda games has been the combat. Like in Twilight for example they give you lots of options on how to defeat an enemy but you almost never really have to use them, you can get by with just your regular sword swings and dodging/blocking attacks. Haven't had the chance of playing Breath of the Wild yet so maybe it's more interesting there, even if from what I hear your weapons break every 10 seconds.
